Sandy Shores 405 1 BR Gulf Front Corner Condo

This one bedroom/1bath corner unit offers an amazing panoramic view of the beach and Gulf of Mexico as well as a view to the northwest from the living room and private balcony. The kitchen is updated with beautiful cabinets and granite counter tops. The cabinets are filled with dishes, cookware and utensils. A coffee maker and toaster are also provided. The bedroom has two queen beds, large dresser, flat screen TV and walk- in closet. Bed linens and bath towels are provided for up to 4 guests in the condo. As a guest of John's Pass Condo's you will have access to our office services such as printing boarding passes and sending and receiving faxes as well as receive and send mail from our office. Our friendly staff will do their best to accommodate any requests or concerns you may have during your vacation. Please come and enjoy the beautiful beach and soothing warm breezes as well as the local attractions which include John's Pass Village and Boardwalk with its many shops, cafes, restaurants and fishing charters directly across the street from our condos. Coin operated washers and dryers are located on each floor. This is a non- smoking accommodation.

There was not a screen on the patio door. You could open the glass sliding door and slide over the screen door but there was only a frame.Bedroom window wouldn't open no screen there either. Dirty dusty.It would have been nice to have the patio door open with the screen. That is why we paid for a unit facing the gulf. Bathroom needs a major update. Tub at one time had stickers to keep you from falling now there are gray dirty spots The tub faucet, drain and shower are old, rusted and corroded. The drain is dirty. Can't take a bath you cannot close the drain. There was a plastic piece to set over the drain if you chooseThe caulk around the tub by the faucet was dirty, rusted and chipping The vanity was old a peeling. The top of the toilet is cracked. Lock on the front door is rusty and very old needs to be replaced. For safety purposes, there is not a way to double lock the door from the inside. There is only the one lock. The entire door frame is very dirty/rusty. The kitchen was ok. We only used the coffee maker. We used a coffee cup is was dirty. Couch needs cleaning. White couch is gray. TV stand is peeling on the tops and side. Only 7 hangers provided in the closet. Headboards on the beds were not connected to the bed frames they knocked against the wall.Lights outside the door didn't work. Elevator is dirty.The bathroom by the pool was terrible. Filthy worse than the elevator.Very disappointing photos wouldn't show any of this.

Great location. Suggestions: replace coffee table it’s very unsteady and unsafe, also the bed closest to the tv really needs a new mattress. Everything else was great. Nice touch having beach toys

The condo was great! Awesome views! There are a few things that needs attention to: (1) the coffee table is very wobbly and should be replaced before someone gets hurt. (2) one of the dining table chair leg was also in bad shape and should be attended to. The rest of the stay was pleasant and would rent again.

Spacious unit with the BEST views! Pretty sparsely furnished but overall comfortable. Gate and elevator codes were a hassle but pool and pool deck were nice and beach was great. I hope to go back.

The place was in a great place for access to beach and John's Pass. One of the beds need a new mattress as we found ourselves climbing out of the middle of the concaved mattress. The other mattress was very comfortable. There was plenty of kitchen pots and pans, etc.

One bedroom condo on fourth floor with gulf front view to front and side. Plenty of pots pans crockery etc. Beds comfortable, but noisy when you move around. Very hot since they are memory foam, and one was covered in plastic mattress cover. Condo bathroom could benefit from an update. Floor covered in carpet, needs changing to tiles, or at least a deep clean together with the sofas, which were very comfortable. Good aircon, good wifi. Very small old tv in lounge. Very good visit, will return.

Great location and wonderful balcony overlooking the ocean

The location could not be beat. With the free parking and a fourth floor condo that overlooks the ocean and sunsets were great. It was across the street from John’s. Pass were many restaurants and shopping is. My only concern was the quality of the inside of the unit. There was mold in the shower area, including all over the shower head. The bedframes are the oddest frames I’ve ever seen, you stub your toe or your knee on them every time you walk around them. The beds were like canoes and needed to be replaced. The kitchen sink faucet needed to be replaced, the sprayer would only spray and nothing else and tended to leak. The living room and dining room furniture were nice but worn. I would definitely consider staying in that area again, very nice area.

Gorgeous views

We enjoyed our stay and loved the views and convenience to John’s pass. The bed was really comfy and it had extra blankets and towels. Wish the cleanliness was a little better but that’s my preference. If your looking for gorgeous views this is your place!!!

Great View

Overall a wonderful stay. The view from the living room is awesome. Place was accurate with the description. Overall place was pretty clean. There was a cockroach near the front door one morning, probably due to the gap underneath so maybe adding a rubber piece would be helpful. I didn’t let this ruin my stay though.

Winter week in paradise

Cannot say enough about this corner unit view. Older but well maintained condo complex. Nice pool and close proximity to the sandy beach. Great for someone with knee or other mobility issues. No need for a car - we walked to John’s Pass and Crabbys over the bridge for all our meals. One suggestion, for the price the beds need an upgrade. The cheap frames will kill your toes or knees if you don’t keep them exposed where you can see them. No other suggestions- we will be back - hopefully soon.

Peace and tranquility

We enjoyed our short stay at Sandy Shores. The condo has a great view of both ends of the beach. It was very quiet, so we were able to relax easily. The condo location is directly across the street from shopping and good restaurants at St. John's Pass Village and Boardwalk. The only downside to this condo is the firmness of the bed, which may be good for some but was a bit too firm for us. We had a couple maintenance issues that we called management about, and they were quick to respond and resolved most of the issues. Check-in was easy and uneventful.
