The San Remo building, location, parking, pool, and hot tub are outstanding. This was our third stay in the San Remo building and our first in this particular unit. We liked being on the first floor and the unit had everything we needed. The beds, pillows, and linens were comfortable. We enjoyed the coffee maker every morning. Our only complaint was that it seemed as though no one had been in the unit in quite some time. It was not very clean. There was hair on both bathroomâs shower floors, a used cleaning rag on the dining room floor, dust on two of the tables (thick enough to write your name in), and I can confidently say that none of the area rugs were vacuumed at all (if I were managing this propertyâIâd throw those rugs in the trash). Our previous two visits at the San Remo were booked through VRBO and we communicated directly with the unit owners. This particular visit, howeverâwhich was also booked through VRBO, felt as though a third party or property manager was our liaison. SoâŠit was a less personal experience. For exampleâthere was no parking pass left for us. We luckily found one folded up in a drawer. Also, when I reported the disappointing cleanlinessâI was asked to send pictures (which I did). I never received a response. All in allâit was a lovely vacation and we were very happy to be there. The bird sanctuary right next store is a canât miss. We strolled through several times and loved hearing and seeing the constant bird activity.
