Welcome to our Green Gumdrop Cottage. Relax after a day at the beach or exploring the artsy and eclectic little piece of paradise that we love...Gulfport.
Situated on Boca Ciega Bay with an array of restaurants and shops, you will enjoy taking in the sunset while having dinner or from Williams Pier. Just 10 min to St. Pete Beach, (named one of USA's top beaches), and the Beautiful Gulf of Mexico. You can also explore the amazing Downtown St. Pete, just 10-12 min drive, with tons to see and do.

Sorry, I hate giving bad reviews. The home looked nothing like the photos.The place smelled so bad we had to put dryer sheets on the ceiling fans. The coffee pot wasn’t emptied so it was moldy. The silverware was dirty, even the drawer was dirty.

Melissa our host is amazing! She was very accommodating & gracious to our schedule needs during our stay. The cottage is conveniently located in Gulfport to the highway, beaches, stores, downtown & restaurants of all kinds. If you are considering a stay, you won’t be disappointed!

The Green Gumdrop is a cozy and cute home that is convenient to the cool town of Gulfport, with fun bars and restaurants. The owner was instantaneous in responding to my messages. We enjoyed it.

The cottage was very clean. We would suggest some hotel style shampoo and bath soaps. The parking was not very helpful in the dark. A picture or drawing would be very helpful for the parking directions.

Wonderful Gulfport

We were there for a whole month, so had the opportunity to do quite a bit. We loved walking around the neighborhood with our dog and meeting lots of people along the way. The Tuesday market was a hit. Clam Bayou had fantastic kayaking and Gulfport Beach was within walking distance. We rode our bikes on the Pinellas bike path and drove to Ft Desoto Park (15-20 min) for road and Mt biking. Alafia State Park (abt 1 hr drive) has some of the best Mt biking in Florida. We got in many days of windsurfing and visited relatives on Sunset Beach. Watched the Treasure Island boat parade and helped light luminaries on Sunset Beach. Even got to visit the Dalí Museum. My kind of relaxing vacation😄 The owners were always available and quick to respond to any problems.

Terrific Gulfport Getaway

I felt so lucky to land in this adorable cottage for a pre-Thanksgiving visit to my local college student. I’ve always wanted to stay in Gulfport and this place is terrific. 10 minutes’ walk from everything the neighborhood has to offer, off-street parking, and quiet except for the local bus, which goes right down this street a few times a day. The cottage is nicely decorated with a mellow old Florida vibe—no greige or leather couches to make you feel cold and sad. It’s spic and span and the kitchen has nearly everything you need to prepare basic meals. If you’re a serious cook and looking forward to seafood feasts, you might need a few items (like a large pot for boiling) but otherwise everything you need is here. My host was easy to reach and incredibly accommodating, even as we approached the holiday weekend. Very happy to be here, and will definitely look this property up for my next visit.

Such a cute place!

We stayed at this lovely home while waiting on our condo to be ready! It had everything we needed including comfy beds!!! Such a great location, with bars and restaurants just a short walk or bike ride away! The host was attentive and we enjoyed our time there!

Such a beautiful cottage in Gulfport! We enjoyed our time there as we waited for renovations to be finished on our condo. The home was perfect. Great location, clean, quiet and had all the amenities we needed.

First trip to Florida!

We loved our stay here. The house was clean and decorated nicely. The beds were very comfortable. The host was quick to communicate with us. They even let us stop back by to pick up clothing we had forgotten in the dryer at checkout. I would stay here again and recommend it to anyone considering staying. Thanks again for everything!

Cute, super clean cottage with comfortable beds

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, walked to the marina, shops and out to eat. Easy drive to other large beaches and tourist areas. Nice central location.
