Charming Cottage in Dunedin close to beaches

Welcome to paradise! Come stay in an adorable, fully renovated 750 sq foot cottage in the best location for all of what Dunedin has to offer. With your own entrance and backyard, there is plenty of privacy for you to enjoy while on your trip. Located less than 30 minutes from Tampa International Airport as well as only 3.4 miles from Dunedin Causeway, 4.6 miles to Honeymoon Island beach, 5 miles to downtown Dunedin, 6.1 miles to BayCare ballpark, 5.8 miles to TD ballpark, and 13.5 miles to Caladesi Island, there will be no shortage of things to do during your stay. Even in walking distance, there is much to enjoy near the home with plenty of bars and restaurants on the main road.

Our well-equipped cottage is a very large mother-in-law suite with its own entrance and private backyard with seating. With high speed wifi and a table with room for your laptop set up, our cottage is ideal for working and traveling.

The bedroom has a queen bed with a very large closet with racks for your luggage and a 55 inch TV. There is also a very large dresser. The hall closet is equipped with an iron and ironing board. The living room is equipped with a daybed that pulls out into a king size bed and has a 65 inch TV with Apple TV. There is a table that can be used as a desk or a dining table. Extra seating (2 fold out chairs) available in the hall closet. Both TVs in the Cottage come with access to Netflix and Amazon Prime video already set up for your use. The Apple TV in the living room has access to Amazon Prime Video, Hulu, Netflix, Apple TV+, Disney+, all logged in for your use.

The bathroom includes a shower/tub, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, a hair dryer, and a first aid kit.

The kitchen comes stocked with basic spices, coffee and creamer, cookware, cooking utensils, toaster, blender, dishes, children's dishes, paper towels, dish soap, hand soap and most things you would need for your stay.

The backyard is equipped with a table that seats 4 with umbrella. It is fully fenced aside from the entry and is private. Outside of the back door there is more additional seating (2 chairs).

You'll be able to access the door to your own apartment and the bedroom, living area, kitchen, bathroom, and back yard access. You will have access to parking for one vehicle in the driveway, directly in front of your private access to your suite.

Not available for guest use are the shed in the backyard and the garage.

The unit is attached to our home where we live full time. You may see us (the hosts), our two children, or our dog. That being said, we respect your privacy while you are on your trip. Your interaction with us will be limited to what you are comfortable with.

We are available from the hours of 7 am - 10 pm EST daily for inquiries. Inquiries outside of that time (aside from emergencies) will be responded in the next day. As we live next door we will be readily available should any issues arise in the unit.

Located in a central location. 25 minutes from the Tampa International Airport, 16 mins from St Pete/Clearwater International Airport. 6 minutes to Dunedin Causeway, 10 mins to Honeymoon Island, 10 minutes to downtown Dunedin and 6 minutes to downtown Palm Harbor. Clearwater Beach is 22 minutes away. Downtown Tampa 32 minutes away. 3 minutes to publix and all amenities. All timings shown are without traffic.

It is important to note that this is a mother in law unit. You may occasionally see us (the hosts/owners), our two children, and our dog as we live in the attached home. As you have your own entry, fenced back area, side yard, and use of the entire suite, your interaction with us can be as limited to what you are comfortable with.

All bookings require a $500 deposit which is released back to you should there not be any issues 3 days after checkout. All bookings require signing of rental agreement and submission of government ID. This is to protect us as hosts to be sure the person reserving is the person checking in. Check in information will not be given without signed rental agreement, gov ID and security deposit. Without this, your booking will be cancelled at your cost.

The space does not have a washer/dryer available. We provide one set of towels per person per week. For bookings longer than two weeks, we will launder the towels and linens weekly included with your stay. There is also a laundromat located 2 miles away (Convenient Laundromat)
