We have seven security cameras. One at the front door, one facing the driveway, five in various parts of the side and back yards. All cameras record color video and audio and will be on at all times.

*Cleaning*
Casa Tropicál will always be professionally cleaned prior to arrival. Guests with extended stays will also receive complementary cleaning service every two weeks. The bi-weekly service will consist of light cleaning of the kitchen, bathrooms, and floors. It will not include linen service or tidying of personal items.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
** Is the pool heated? **
Yes! If requested, the pool will be heated to 80°F from 5am–5pm at no extra charge (Nov - April). However, the heater shuts off if the air temp drops below 52°F. The pools stays naturally warm in the heat of the summer. If guests would like to increase the temperature, there will be an additional fee per night for the entire duration of the reservation.

** What items do you supply? **
We provide linens, bath towels, beach towels, shampoo, conditioner, laundry detergent, a well stocked kitchen with utensils including pots/pans, coffee maker, basic spices, etc. We provide enough toilet paper and paper towels to get you through the first few days of your stay.

We had a wonderful stay! Owners were extremely responsive and helpful with any questions we had. Home was very clean and organized for visitors. LOVED LOCATION! 2 blocks from beautiful sunsets on St. Joseph Sound and the Pinellas bike path!!! Highly recommend this property!!!

First class stay. Upon arrival the house is clean, the kitchen is well equipped, the bikes are ready to ride and the hosts provided some welcoming snacks; fruit, muffins, etc. The neighborhood is quiet and folks walk to the beach each evening to watch the spectacular sunset. We’ve already booked for 2027.

This house ranks up there among the best places we’ve stayed! We appreciated the well stocked kitchen, coffee, snacks left by the host, bikes, helmets, locks, and private pool. We enjoyed having the trail so close. The host was quick to respond and share recommendations. I would definitely recommend others to book.

Kitchen was very well equipped even though we didn’t cook the 4 days we were there. House was super clean and a few extra niceties. Location is great with the Pinellas bike trail a few blocks away. We weren’t able to use the pool because the weather was too cool. Would definitely rent this property again. Communicating with property manager was pretty instantaneous

A very nice place to relax and get away

Wonderful experience

The house was just as lovely as all the pictures indicated. The area was very quiet and a great base to see all the sights we wanted to in the area. The kitchen was amazingly well stocked and very serviceable. The owner graciously answered any and all questions that we had. Highly recommend this property.

Beauty and Tranquillity

My daughter and I enjoyed staying at this property. It was peaceful, quiet, and we felt safe. The pool was the highlight of our trip. The stores were near by and easy to get to. We would recommend this to anyone who wants a quiet place to stay. We will diffinitely come back again.

Another wonderful stay

This is our second stay at Casa Tropicál and it was another wonderful winter get away. Chantal and Luis are excellent hosts. The property is in a quiet neighborhood with a fenced in private backyard. The house has all your needs covered. We will stay again!

February 2 Week Recharge - Peaceful & Relaxing

Chantal & Luis shared a lovely home and pool with us. The neighborhood is a quiet spot centered around the Crystal Beach park. Every evening the sunset draws a neighborhood group. The home is very clean and comfortable with all the amenities you can imagine. The private heated pool is great. Chantal & Luis quickly responded to our communications. We’ve reserved again for next year.

When we opened the door to the house, it was love at first sight. Beautifully decorated, warm and sunny, so many personal touches to make our stay feel like our home away from home. The pool was wonderful, the accommodations were five star. The house was comfortable and homey. The neighborhood was quiet and close to many activities. We will be glad to visit again and look forward to the next stay !

Chantal and Luis are wonderful hosts! 5* Communication was prompt and clear. Their home is clean, spacious, and lovingly furnished with virtually everything you could need. (This is not the typical furnished-by-IKEA rental, in all the best ways!) The location and neighborhood are ideal. If given the opportunity to visit Casa Tropical again, I would not hesitate. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

We have rented numerous homes through VRBO. This was the best yet as many are less than advertised. This home is more than you would expect. The hosts are amazing and the house is spotless and appointed with everything you could want to make your vacation perfect. We will definitely come back. Chantel and Louis are amazing hosts.

Wonderful Casa!

We've stayed here twice, for a total of 5 weeks. The listing describes it perfectly. Hosts Chantal and Luis are available, friendly and responsive. The house is really a labor of love on their part, beautiful, comfortable and fully equipped. Crystal Beach is simple, lovely, quiet. We loved the proximity to Tarpon Springs, Dunedin, Honeymoon Beach State Park, Clearwater, St. Pete and Sarasota. Many fine restaurants! And of course the heated saltwater pool. Book Casa Tropical!

Peaceful getaway from winter

A beautiful home and private backyard sanctuary! This is our second time staying here and we love it! So thoughtful to have fresh flowers, muffins, and strawberries for us. The kitchen is incredible. We love to stay home and grill and that is so perfect to enjoy at the table by the pool. Super close to the bike trail which is our favorite activity. Plus a short walk to see the amazing sunsets. The only disappointment was the heater was not able to get fixed in the pool and it was simply too cold to swim in the pool. We love the small town feeling of Crystal Beach. More time !

Home owners are great to work with and easily available. The home was clean and very convenient for two couples! Pool is a very nice added bonus. Backyard was inviting and a relaxing area. Great location! Close to a park where u can swim a great walking bike trail. Close to Tarpon Springs, Dunedin, and Clearwater. The only thing you will need is more time. We throughly enjoyed our time at the house and we were close to everything. When in the area we would totally stay here again. A very inviting home!

Crystal beach vacation.

The house was very nice in a quiet neighborhood. The hostess left us a welcome tray of muffins and fruit. We especially enjoyed the shaded lanai around the pool and patio. We didnt get a chance to use the bikes. The beach wagon left for our use made going to the beach very easy. We also forgot a few things when we left that we didn’t realize and she contacted us that her cleaner had found them and would we like her to mail them to us. We really appreciated that! We would stay again.
