This property is in a great location with a large lanai. When we arrived the lanai was so dirty with shells, so much sand and the glass top table was so sticky with ring spots of from the prior guests drinks. It never was cleaned. Then I noticed the dirty rug under the coffee table. There was a small pill, puzzle pieces, piece of candy and a lot of sand. We have a 10 month old baby with us and this could have been really bad if she got a hold of any those things. Next I brought my stuff into the primary bedroom only to find the prior guest hair under the chair and lots of sand. In the primary bathroom there was more hair in the shower. The shower tile was moldy and looks really bad. The blind was ripped and falling off the track in the primary bedroom. There were glasses never washed as well as dirty knives. One had so much rust on it. I called the management company and they sent someone out the next day. Unfortunately she only spoke Spanish and we only spoke English. She didnât know what needed to be done. My son tried to explain and pointed to what needed to be done. Only the lanai was swept and she left. The management company should have told her all of my concerns. I sent pictures and they could have sent them to her. I ended up cleaning everything. We have been going to Indian shores for 20 years and this place was the dirtiest we have ever stayed. The management company did refund us our cleaning fee. Which I thought was far.
