Beach Place 512 Gulf Front Corner Unit

Beach Place 512 is a corner beach front condo with a panoramic view of the Gulf of Mexico. The Livingroom has a flat screen TV. The master bedroom has 1 King bed and a TV. The master bathroom and guest bathroom each have a shower with a tub. The 2nd bedroom has 2 king beds with a TV and a walk-in closet that leads to the guest bath. In the 3rd bedroom is 1 king bed with a TV as well. This unit also has a washer and dryer.

The kitchen is equipped with updated appliances and cabinets filled with dishes, cookware and utensils. Bed linens and bath towels are provided for up to 8 guests in the condo.

Come and enjoy the beautiful beach and the attractions which include John's Pass Village and Boardwalk with its many shops, cafes, restaurants, fishing charters directly across the street from our condos, via a protected crosswalk.

The shops were near by and within walking distance. The beach was great and it was not busy! I loved that there was a box of beach toys for the kids to play with since we flew and didn’t bring any with us. Unfortunately we were told the elevators were going to be out of order and we had to relocate to a different unit. It just wasn’t feasible to walk up five flights of stairs with toddlers and infants. We were promised a refund due to the inconvenience that we never received and the property managers have had VERY poor communication and I found it very unprofessional. We did not receive our check in info until about an hour or two after it was promised. I tried multiple ways to get ahold of someone and it took longer than it should have for someone to get back with me. I will probably not be booking with John’s Pass condos again and will find other accommodations on the beach on our next trip. The condo was great but the communication was horrible.

It could be soo nice with a little effort

The location and view of the beach was perfect. The condo itself and communication was not! The condo needs to be updated. This didn’t bother me though. What did was that it was very dirty. There were piles of sand inside. Ice in fridge had chunks of black dirt. Dishes/silverware in poor condition and dirty. Chips on the floor, and couch cushions coated in sticky candy. No screen on slider, so couldn’t enjoy sounds of the ocean. Windows obviously damaged, as wind blew right through closed windows, to the point the bedroom door blew open. Oh, and the elevator did not work, and condo on 5th floor!! This did not go well given back pain from prior surgery, and limited our activity as going up and down 5 flights of stairs several times was not easy. The owner/operator of condo never answered any of my messages. After calling the number to the resort, we were promised that someone would be out to clean, and replace the screen door. This never happened!! We cleaned ourselves as it was so gross! The space is really nice, but it’s missing someone who actually cares!

Great Gulf Vacation

The property was unbelievably located directly on the beach with sunset views from the balcony every night. Directly across the street was a great Shopping area with food, ice cream, souvenir shops and outdoor recreation places where you could rent jet skis, take a boat ride or parasail. Awesome place and i would definitely return

Madeira beach review

The location was perfect. No real issues and my family had a great time. The only issues was lack of communication. We were never told about car tags for parking spots but once I called it was fixed. Also on the last night the code stopped working but called after hours and it was fixed also. The place could be updated but I get it when it comes to being a rental. It is definitely big enough and there is plenty of space for your family and the location is absolutely perfect. Would come again

John’s pass condo

Location was great. Floors were dirty. Carpets need cleaned or replaced. We had next to no towels to wash with and had a hard time getting some. And the elevator is scary to say the least. Needs some serious maintenance. It stopped between floors once and the doors started to open. Heard from several people who have been there before and the elevator has been an ongoing issue.

Cockroaches

We have several cockroaches in the room and they followed us into the car. Our drive home has been stopping every hour to spray the car with cockroach spray. The elevator made a weird squeak and rocked when it hit floor 5. This is our second year staying on the property and we will not be back. The cockroaches were disgusting.

Great location, outstanding views. Checking in was difficult, telephone contact unresponsive. Bare necessities provided. Furnishings inappropriate for a beach vacation. One wine glass, one butter knife, NO sharp knives. Cleanliness mediocre. Overall updating much needed.

Girls 60th Birthday trip

The property is located in a perfect area right on the beach and across the road from John's Pass. Only complaint was the bathrooms are in need of repair and carpet could use cleaning. We did run out of toilet paper. Overall, we had a fantastic time.

Plenty of room. Only thing we needed that wasn’t in the room was an iron. Floats, umbrellas and chairs were there. Would definitely stay again. Location and beach was terrific. View was outstanding!!

Nice corner unit with great view!

Great location, property, and views! Good communication and check in! Third bedroom had no TV, no mirrors, top of one outlet not working, and lamp not working. Master bedroom did not have a nightstand. All bedrooms had dim lighting. Despite these minor inconveniences, we would stay here again!

Description met expectations. You’re paying for the view and location.

The condo is not updated which is identified in the description. There is newer paint in the walls etc. The view is amazing and it’s very walkable to John’s Pass. There was a sauce pan holding up one of the legs on the bed that the owner didn’t know about. I’m assuming the maintenance staff did this. There are two beach chairs, an umbrella and floaties in the condo which was a nice surprise.

Could be so much more!

Location is great. Unit 512 is awful. Needs to be gutted and completely redone. Vertical blinds on all the windows, 1/2 the slats are missing. Bathrooms from the seventies and the sink doesn’t drain. Kitchen cabinets are peeling. Kitchen a mess of old used utensils. Bathtubs are rusty and pitted. Old polyester bedsteads that are all pulled. The patio furniture is old, plastic, cracked junk. The location is great but spend some money and update the entire unit.

Really beautiful view . Big and spacious condo ,only problem was when taking shower water would suddenly turn scolding hot. Maintenance came out next day and turned down the thermostat on hot water heater not sure if it worked we left a day after. Just be careful when taking a shower especially if you have youngsters with you because the water was scolding. Other than that it was awesome

We rented 512 but where moved because bed was broke coffee table broke light bulbs missing and carpet was so dirty and stained that you could not take your shoes off. The management moved us to 406 and it was beautiful. And we appreciated there prompt attention to the matter. Room 512 should never be rented until remodeled

Never Again

Our rental agreement was for unit 512, a corner unit. As we arrived they unit was being worked on. Meaning, tile on entry hall was being replace. The unit was filthy. Black mold appeared in a number of places. Counters were greasy, carpet stained, walls dirty. Upon contacting manager learned they moved us to 507. 507 was not much better and it was not a corner unit. I have multiple pics of 507 also showing stains on carpet in all rooms, bathroom floors with dirt build up, walls dirty, window screen torn almost completely out, flapping in the wind. Bathroom light, was hanging by wires from the wall, patio was filthy, one chair completely broken, the other two were small umbrella like chairs. Talking with several "managers" they said there was a miscommunication about the unit (there was none prior to arrival). They were fighting with the owner of 512, who was fighting with the association. Unit 512 never should have been on VRBO. Managers said nobody else has complained about 507. I find that very hard to believe, based on the pics I provided. They said they were going to refund 2 nights and there was nothing more they could do, then hung up on me. I have yet to see the refund and it's been 9 days. Of course they accepted my upfront payment in full immediately. They also said they don't know months in advance that a unit will not be in condition to rent. I rented on 1/10 for a 2/24 arrival date. They manage a number of condo's along Gulf Blvd. I will make it a point to not stay with one of their properties again. This is true for many of the other residents visiting, my friends and family. The pool became the place for residents to congregate & complain about how they were treated by the management. It's really too bad because the location and view are great. I've used VRBO every year for 20 years and worst experience I"ve ever had.

Needs updating really bad

This place is in a perfect location. The only downfall is the owner of the condo doesn’t want to update anything. The entire bathrooms need updating. Really nasty, the rugs and beyond nasty, black with stains everywhere including blood stains. I would not recommend this condo witch is 512. If you want to stay in this building contact the office that rents this building out and have them give you anything but this. The other apartments are amazing.
