Home Away from home!

I felt at home immediately! Literally every amenity was thought of from olive oil and garlic powder to make-up wipes and Bath and Body shower gel.The house was beautifully decorated and all the wonderful information on the guide book was top notch. I really enjoyed the neighborhood. Having lived in the STL metro 5 years before need to stay here. I always love learning about parts of STL and South CITY STL residence are a class unto themselves. The house was conveniently located to Gravois Ave. where you can find absolutely everything. The house is literally withing 5 miles of at least 2 large grocery stores and then things like QT Gas Station and Dollar General. I never had an issue with parking. The keyless lock and security system made me feel very safe. There was a tornado while I was there….my mom (new to the mid-west) was freaking out but I was able to keep her calm and remind her the house is over 100 years old and we were in the basement and going to be fine.Speaking of my mom….I was there to recuperate for a producer she was there to take care of me…not very techy…I was way too weak to be bothered with the fact that she couldn’t get the TV to work. But the host stayed on the phone with her until he helped her figure it out. Enjoyed my time there and would stay again.

St. Lois World Fair House

The house is really well decorated with antique pieces pertaining to the 1904 world's fair in a cleverly updated 100-year-old house. It has all the modern amenities that people desire while giving the illusion of living in a different era with easy access to all things fun about this interesting city. Toni and his wife provided a wealth of historic information about the world's fair plus current events and sites of interest. So, savor the flavor of this special house and unique city.

Met all of our expectations.

My wife and I had a superb two night stay here. Zero complaints. Easy parking, great location, and check in/out was a breeze. House is well kept and has all the amenities one could ask for. Shaved Duck is literally a block away and has a quaint bar and some of the best BBQ in STL.

Would totally stay there again. I attended a party at a restaurant nearby in the new year eve and did not wanted to drive back home after drinking, once I live about 35 minutes away. It was a great stay, the place is organized & clean. Very beautiful and well taken care.

Lovely and conenient to anywhere

I travelled with my sister so having more than 1 bed was ideal. She used the sleeper sofa and it was very nice.Home had everything we needed for a weekend getaway.We were never far from anywhere we wanted to go in and around St. Louis.Would stay here again!

Charming Cottage Abounds with 1904 World's Fair Flair

A Short Stay

Our flight was delayed so we arrived very late to the property but the neighborhood seemed safe at that late hour. My family and I needed a place to stay while attending a nearby event, and this was perfect. The location was incredibly convenient, close to everywhere we needed to go. And the rental itself is in a beautiful part of the city. Everything was clean and in good order, we were very comfortable during our stay. The fold out beds are very comfortable and did not leave us feeling cramped in the space when they were folded out. We also needed to check in early and our host communicated with us through the whole process, and was very accommodating while also working within the schedule of the cleaner. Highly recommend!

This place was so unique!!! It was perfect for just the two of us but could also work for some others to stay as well. Fun time in St Louis

Nice quiet area. Close to everything. Murphy bed was comfortable as was the queen bed in the bedroom. Cardinal game, Clydesdales, beer and Nate Bargatze at the beautiful Fox theater. Enjoyed our downtime at the 1904 Worlds Fair retreat!

We were in town for a procedure at BJC. Unfortunately, we spent most of our time there. We did walk down the street from the house when we first arrived to the shaved duck. Very good smoked meat. The house was cute and cozy and served its purpose. I wouldn’t hesitate to book again.
