We had a wonderful stay on St. John! The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The location was perfect for exploring the island, and the host was responsive and helpful. We would absolutely stay here again. And you cannot beat the view of coral bay!

We had a 10/10 experience staying here for our honeymoon. JP met us at the Jeep place to pick up our vehicle (Sunshines also 10/10 they met us at the ferry to pick up), and JP let us have time to shop at the market first before heading to the house. He was so welcoming, and they even had a few things of food for us from North Shore Deli (also a must go to place, great food for sandwiches, drinks and cold pastas to take to the beach). The place itself was incredibly clean, neat, and the views were as good as the pictures! The kitchen had everything you need. Plenty of extra towels and toilet paper. We had beach chairs and coolers (multiple sizes) for us to take to the beach (super nice to have), plus beach towels. The washer and dryer is also nice. The drive up the mountain is intense no doubt, you definitely need a 4x4 vehicle, it’s very very steep. But once you drive up for the 3-4min it’s definitely worth it. Great views. It was too cold to swim in the pool so we didn’t, but it’s lit up and clean, and great view. We used the grill 2x. The property is very private and you can’t really see any other building around you. If we came back we definitely would stay here again! The only weird thing was the split level, you have to go outside and walk up/down stairs to get to the other half (main level is kitchen, bathroom, living room, second level down stairs is the 2 rooms and bathroom and washer/dryer). Awesome place!!

Amazing Views!

Our family just returned from this great property. The views are just as shown if not better. We greatly appreciated all the little details (beach items including towels, chairs, coolers, ice packs, snorkel equipment), fully stocked kitchen, binoculars, etc. There were a couple of minor items but the great communication with the property management company more than made up for it. The outdoor grill was a key piece for us as we bought fresh steaks and seafood (Calabash Market) and enjoyed a couple of nice home dinners grilling while the kiddos splashed around in the pool overlooking a gorgeous sunset. I would recommend an SUV for height and traction for better navigation of the roads
Overall, this property certainly meet and surpassed our expectations!

Absolutely fantastic location. Amazing views that will stun. Property was incredible and wonderful amenities including pool, plenty of seating and outdoor grill. Home was very comfortable and check in with staff was great. Owners were very kind and the treats were much appreciated. Fell in love with the island.

The view was absolutely breathtaking! The house was spotless, and any questions or needs we had were addressed right away. The property manager went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, which we really appreciated.I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because the power went out almost daily during our stay. We’d have electricity for a few hours, then lose it for a few hours—which also meant no water. This made it difficult to plan dinners, and one night we even had to cancel our plans after a long day at the beach.Another thing to note is that most restaurants and the nearest market were about 20–30 minutes away. I’d absolutely stay again for a shorter trip, but probably not for an extended stay due to the frequent outages and distance from conveniences.Definitely a must place to stay!! Highly recommend

Wow!

House was perfect, and view from the breakfast area and front bedroom is spectacular. What turned out to be important was easy to use driveway and parking. Also very easy access ro beaches, market, and cafes. Miller Realty very easy to work with.

The plant growth around pool area is over grown and blocks the view of Coral Bay. On the first floor the area that looked like it use to be a screened in porch needs more lighting. Just the two lights in the corner is not enough. There should be some overhead lights especially over the table in the room.

AMAZING!!!!!

I rarely take the time to do a review on VRBO but this property deserves the love. The views and the whole experience were awesome. They even provided really great snacks, some reef safe sunscreen and bug spray, which I thought was a very nice touch. There are definitely some bugs, but that's the whole island. I would stay here again in a heart beat.

A nice corner of paradise

We loved the outdoor space of this property - the grill and the seating area were great for meals. The pool was very nice in the hot afternoons, and the top deck was perfect for stargazing at night. Overall this was a nice property and a great location.

Beautiful view and very comfortable

The property was beautifully furnished and maintained. The kitchen is well equipped and there are very comfortable couches and places to hang out in the living space. Table and chairs offer gorgeous view. Beds super comfortable. Very quiet area, slept great! A/C and fans. Pool was clean and it's nice to have happy hour on their high deck overlooking the bays. Flat parking area but takes some getting used to getting in and out of the driveway :) Property manager very communicative and responsive.

Easy check in process and great communication! Very clean and comfortable place to relax. On the quieter side of the island takes about 20-25 Mins to drive from Cruz Bay. Short 10-15 mins drive to Maho Bay. Great property would stay again!

Beautiful views, upstairs air conditioning was great, bedrooms are downstairs and you go outside to get to lower level and the air conditioning is not great and loud, stuffy so I sleep upstairs on the couch which was fine. We rented a jeep and explored most of the island and Coral Bay was a great location! If the cleaners could wiped down all outside cabinets and such that would be great as dirty finger prints left behind but this is fixable for the next guest!

Incredible Views at Sol La Vie!!

Great place with an amazing view! St. John was a blast, and this was a great place to stay while enjoying the island. Having beach chairs and beach towels provided was a huge plus. Be sure to have a Jeep or similar vehicle to get to the house and around the island. Would definitely stay here again!

Absolute Tropical PARADISE!

We are so thankful to have found Sol La Vie on VRBO! The home was even better than photos or description. It was a peaceful oasis with billion dollar views. Upon arrival, there was the most thoughtful care package of North Shore Deli goodies. We were so hungry after traveling! The home was spotless and had everything we needed & more. The outdoor areas were surreal with lush tropical trees, flowers and huge coconut palm. The home has views from each room. The bedrooms were very comfortable and we slept so good after our days spent snorkeling the different beaches. The flat driveway made for great parking (not something we realized was so important until seeing how so many have to park at other homes)!!! We did not want to leave your beautiful home and will be daydreaming of the next time we can come back to Sol La Vie. PS - James was SO HELPFUL as well as Victor who met us in Cruz Bay and showed us the way to the home and got us settled. Thanks for everything!! ☀

Beautiful paradise

We stayed here from July 15-20. I can’t say enough. The house is exactly like the pictures. The views were beautiful. We really appreciated the welcome basket with wonderful treats. Communication with the property owners were excellent. The house has everything you could need. We appreciated the beach towels and chairs as it definitely saved us a bit of money. The pool was gorgeous and a great way to spend an evening after a long day at the beach. There is a market and four restaurants within an easy 5 minute drive. The beds were super comfy. We can’t say enough about our wonderful stay

Excellent Accomodations!

If you're looking for a a quieter, more relaxing stay, then this property in Coral Bay is for you! We very much enjoyed our stay here. Comfortable beds, beautifully furnished and decorated, private pool, plus a basket of goodies in the fridge for us! Easy access to Maho Bay and Cinnamon Bay beaches (Cinnamon Bay was our favorite), lots of Sugar Mill ruins to explore nearby. Grouper tacos at Surf Club Cantina and burgers at Skinny Legs were a huge hit! And if you're looking for a little more activity, Cruz Bay is only 25 minutes away. Keep Left!
