Big Sky Villa: sunset view; 2 kitchens; great for large families; private pool

Enjoy sunset views, a refreshing pool, 2 kitchens, and 4 king beds w/ ensuite baths. * New June 2025- back up solar power. Big Sky Villa is a 10 minute drive from Cruz Bay, 15 minutes to North shore beaches.

The main level of the villa is fully air conditioned and consists of 2 bedrooms with ensuite baths, full kitchen and washer and dryer. The lower level, also fully air conditioned and accessed via interior staircase, consists of 2 bedrooms and ensuite baths, a second living area, with 1 pull out couch, studio kitchen. Both levels offer walk out covered porches with amazing sunset views. An air mattress is also available upon request.

Beach chairs and coolers are provided.

The pool area offers plenty of lounging areas and endless ocean and mountain views.

My husband and I and our 3 adult kids and their partners had a fabulous week at Big sky Villa. The communication with our host was almost instantaneous, for a couple of very minor questions while we were there. The house was large enough for plenty of privacy, and also had wonderful common spaces indoors and outdoors. The 4 en-suite bedrooms were very comfy. The kitchen was remarkably well stocked, we enjoyed cooking several dinners at home. The decks had great seating, a large table for eating, and fabulous views, especially rainbows and sunsets. The beach chairs, coolers and beach canopy were well used at local beaches. It was very easy to drive into Cruz Bay and the north shore beaches. We had no complaints and hope to be back!! Thanks!!!

First Trip With Grandkids

Big Sky Villa was conveniently located to all of her favorite things to do on St. John. The beach accessories provided at the house were a great plus. Wonderful views of the sunsets. Loved the two separate living areas and interior stairwell. Perfect layout with our grandkids who were first time islanders. Side note - very convenient to the dumpsters. Haha!

Big Sky Villa...uhhh JUST BOOK IT!!!!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at big sky villa in October. This was our first time at big sky, we came with 6 adults and 4 children. Big Sky was an absolutely perfect setup for our group. Kids were 7 and up, and everything felt safe for kids that age, balconies were very secure. Booking/ communication: Villa was easy to book through VRBO and there was great proactive communication leading up to our trip. Their property manager Lusmey was SO helpful, responsive, and nice. She proactively reached out and let us know what to do if they actually closed ports, which was SUPER appreciated. Villa amenities/cleanliness: Honestly, this villa was just top notch. Clean, luxurious, spacious, super well put together and thought out. Honestly, if you stay here you literally need to bring like clothes and a swimsuit, that's it. We definitely overpacked, cause the villa was SUPER well stocked with everything you need for the beach. Pool was great, warm, kids loved it. Location: Not too far from Cruz Bay, but not super close. Driveway was a bit tough to find in the dark the first night, but they offer to show you how to get there which is nice! SUPER private, apart from some noise from a house above us. UNBELIEVABLE sunset view. I would rebook in a heartbeat, felt like 5-star accommodations, way nicer than anything we've stayed in, GREAT value if you have a big group. We loved the view(like ZERO houses in the way), the iguanas in the trees, and the privacy.

Wonderful time!

We came to visit the Virgin Islands National Park and stayed here the last 6 nights of our trip. We brought our Girl Scout troop who had just graduated from high school. The house was perfect. It had everything we needed. It had great air conditioning which we were so thankful for after camping the first two nights of our trip. We used the grill for 3 of our dinners. We enjoyed the swimming pool every evening. The beach equipment available for use was very nice (beach umbrellas, snorkeling gear, etc). The sleeping arrangements were very comfortable, and there was a bathroom with shower in each room. It was super clean, and it had wonderful views. The communication with the host and her local contact was prompt and helpful. My only advice if you are driving on the island is to rent a Jeep. We had two cars and a Jeep, and we found it very difficult to get around the island with the cars. One of the cars we left parked all week because it didn’t do well on the steep hills. The Jeep did much better and didn’t get any damage. The hills on the driveway to the property are steep and have two switchbacks that require backing up once or twice to get up or down. Say it with me
Jeep. Not just for the property, but for the entire island. We are very happy with our decision to stay here, and we are thankful to our hosts! A beautiful place.

Wedding House

This property was nothing short of amazing! We arrived early on St.John and Jessica reassured us to bring our bags to the property (way before our check in time) so we could begin to explore the island. This helped tremendously as there were already 7 of us on island and we didn’t have much room in our rental car. Housekeeping was so polite and did a great job making sure the house was spotless. The view from the back porch, was absolutely breathtaking! We all enjoyed our morning coffee looking at catamarans docked at the Westin and our view of St.Thomas. The house came with EVERYTHING you would need for a week stay. Not only did the house work for a wonderful stay, but it doubled as a place that my girls and I could get ready for my wedding. We had so much room and plenty of natural lighting. The only bump we had while there was a small power outage for about 45 minutes. It just so happened that it was on wedding day! Despite our hiccup, everything turned out wonderful and no one stressed too much:) I would recommend this house to anyone who has a large group and needs plenty of space as it basically has 2 separate living areas with fully stocked kitchens, bathrooms, and laundry rooms! If you plan to stay here, you won’t get far without a rental car. Taxi’s cannot make it down the driveway, so you will have to walk quite a ways (straight up and straight down) if you plan on taxing the whole time. Overall, I would stay here 10/10 times! Amazing!!

Wonderful home

This house has plenty of room! 2 kitchens and 2 bedrooms on each floor it was like we had a “girls” and “boys” villa. The host was super helpful and offered lots of suggestions for the island.

Great stay at Big Sky Villa

I was very pleased with our stay at this Villa on St. John. The house was as described. It was very spacious, clean, very stocked with towels, kitchen supplies, grill with grilling tools, washer and dryer with laundry detergent and fabric softener, and extras like ample snorkel gear, beach chairs and floats. All of the information for care of the home, wifi password, restaurant and beach recommendations were all provided. Best part: The View! What at great scenic view of Cruz Bay. The home is located away from the more populated areas of the island. The driveway has two K-turns, which was easy to get used to. Thankfully, the manager's son Virgil met us on arrival to the island to guide us to the home.

Paradise on St John!!

Beautiful property! Views were wonderful! 4 couples
..we all had our own room with kingsize bed, bathroom, AND a/c! House was immaculate! We had everything we needed. When refills were needed, they were taken care of within 24 hours! We left the property most days to venture to beaches but the couple pool days we had were a blast! Clean pool, lots of seating, and many pool floaties were available!

Simply, Wow!

Traveling from NY our family of 7 adults could not have been more pleased with our choice to stay at Big Sky Villa. Arriving later then expected we were thankful to Virgil for adjusting his schedule to meet us in town to show us the way. It was dark and the idea of traveling on the left side of the road was a very new concept. Once we reached the villa we were thrilled with the beautiful views from both decks. The dark sky with bright moon, stars and lights from St Thomas was absolutely stunning! The decks continued to wow us all week long with endless beauty every hour. We even had a beautiful double rainbow appear. The four clean en-suite bedrooms were spacious and inviting with their unique beach motifs. The beds, blankets pillows and linens were all very comfortable. We found the closets and drawers to be spacious enough for the overpacking we did. Our days were packed full with snorkeling, beaches and tours. We were very grateful for the coolers, beach chairs/towels and snorkel gear left for our use. With the windy roads on St John we decided to spend all of our evenings (dark hours) at the Villa. We utilized the pool, kitchens and both living spaces to enjoy each other with a few cocktails, some tasty hors d'oeuvres, and fun games. This trip allowed us the family time we needed and we will definitely be back. Thank you for sharing your beautiful space with us. The Ranks

Beautiful view

This property was perfect. Super view! Lots of great amenities like the pool, floats, snorkel gear, beach chairs, beach towels, family board games. The home is decorated so nicely and makes for a home away from home. All furniture and beds, pillows are all comfy. Lots of outdoor furniture to enjoy the amazing view. We liked being on the hill to really enjoy the view - 15-20 mins away from some of the most beautiful beaches I’ve ever seen! Driving on the island is challenging at times especially since on the opposite side but my husband never had a problem and got used to it pretty quickly. Thank you to great home owners and our host for really making our vacation at St John’s so perfect.
