Enys Cottage - Boutique St Ives Cottage
Enys Cottage is a beautiful boutique fishermanâs holiday cottage in St Ives in the very heart of Downalong. The cottage has two bedrooms; one is a double bedroom on the first floor with an ensuite shower room and the other bedroom is a twin bedroom with an ensuite. The cottage has an open-plan kitchen, dining and living area on the ground floor. If you are looking for a perfect bolt-hole ideally for couples or small families that is all within a short walking distance of St Ives' restaurants, galleries, shops and best of all beaches, then Enys Cottage is the ideal place to book. One immaculately behaved very small dog is welcome (pet fees apply).
Enys Cottage has been lovingly restored and crafted; this much is obvious when you first walk in through the front stable door. There is a built-in kitchen with a two-point induction hob, built-in electric oven and microwave. There is an integrated slimline dishwasher and a double under-counter fridge with one ice box compartment so plenty of space for your favourite tipple or two! Take your morning coffee from the Nespresso coffee machine and visit Smeatonâs Pier just around the corner, coffee and croissant in hand!
The dining area is a bespoke crafted bench, table and chairs in the kitchen area and there is a 3-seater sofa perfect for relaxing in front of the large Smart TV or with a good book. On the first floor is the double bed with a handcrafted built-in wardrobe and en-suite shower room with wash basin and WC. On the second floor is the twin bedroom which has a Smart TV plus an en-suite shower, wash basin and WC.
This boutique St Ives cottage is a perfect place to use as a base in St Ives being remarkably close to all 5 St Ivesâ beaches as well as the St Ives Harbour, restaurants, shops, cafes, and galleries. You will find a couple of long-stay car parks within a short walk of the cottage; Island car park and Barnoon car park. The largest car park; Trenwith at St Ives Leisure Centre, is a 20-minute walk away or the St Ives Rugby Club is around 25 minutes to reach on foot. The train station is a 15-minute walk at most from the cottage so perfect for weekend breaks away.
Bed linen and towels are provided as is WiFi. Please bring your own beach towels.
1 x well-behaved dog (up to 15kgs) is welcome. A pet fee applies of ÂŁ50 per week which we collect from guests once the property is booked (terms and conditions apply). Please let us know the age, sex and breed when booking.
**Dear Guests, please note that there is a cottage opposite Enys Cottage that is having some internal renovation works taking place and there is some temporary scaffolding on the outside of this building. Although we hope any noise disruption would be kept to a minimum, you may hear this intermittently from within the cottage. If you have an questions, please contact a member of the team before booking**
Please note, there is no washing machine at Enys Cottage. There is a self-service and serviced laundrette in St Ives should you wish to wash and dry clothes quickly.
N.B. The bedrooms have feather pillows and duvets so please let the Orange Roofs Team know on booking if non-feather is required for your stay.
