Set on a double lakefront lot with 268 feet of sandy frontage, this spacious, dog-friendly home features a rare zero-entry beach—perfect for kids, easy wading, and launching paddleboards with ease. Inside, cathedral pine ceilings, a wall of lake-facing windows, and three beautifully appointed levels create the ideal setting for gathering, relaxing, and enjoying every season.

Step into the great room, where soaring ceilings and a floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace create a true lodge-style atmosphere. Settle into plush seating, take in the sweeping lake views, and enjoy the open layout that flows seamlessly into the full kitchen. Home cooks will appreciate the stainless steel appliances, center island with seating for five, and all the essentials for effortless vacation meals. A round table for 12 sits just beside the windows—perfect for family dinners—or head out to the furnished wraparound deck for outdoor dining with a front-row view of Big St. Germain Lake.

This home offers four inviting bedrooms spread across three levels, giving groups both comfort and privacy.

Main level: Two queen bedrooms and a full bath.

Loft level: A lake-view sitting area and the primary bedroom featuring a high-end queen mattress and TV, plus a full bath.

Lower level: A spacious entertainment room with patio access, plus a bunk room with two twin bunks and a queen bed with another high-end mattress.

The lower-level family room is stocked with games and books, a mounted flat-screen TV, and easy walkout access to the yard and shoreline. You’ll also find a full bath, an additional refrigerator, and a washer/dryer for added convenience.

Outdoor living is where this home truly shines. Spend your mornings paddleboarding from the gentle, zero-entry sandy beach, take out the rowboat, canoe, or paddleboat, or cast a line—Big St. Germain Lake is beloved for its excellent fishing. In winter, guests can ride snowmobiles and equipment directly onto the frozen lake from the property for seamless access to the area’s extensive trail system. After grilling your fresh catch on the gas grill, end the day at the lakeside firepit under a sky full of bright northern stars.

Visiting in fall or winter? The Northwoods delivers. Autumn brings breathtaking color surrounding the lake, while winter offers world-class snowmobiling, ice fishing, and access to hundreds of miles of groomed trails. Sandy Cove is located just down the street from snowmobile trails, ATV routes, and the paved bike path, making it easy to explore year-round adventure right from your doorstep. With high-speed WiFi, the home also supports remote work and study between outdoor excursions.

Located just minutes from town, you’ll have easy access to local restaurants, shops, ice cream stops, and four-season recreation from boating to trail riding.

Great Property and Wonderful Atmosphere

We had a great time and enjoyed the lake and cleanliness of the home. Beds were a little firm but still comfortable. Appreciated the extra blankets and pillows. Quiet neighborhood with lots of wildlife near by.

Snowmobiles

Parking will require a smaller that a 29’ trailer and 4wd, there is a optional parking lot in town right by the groomer barn where I left my van and trailer for 4 day’s with no problem. I rode a sled back to cabin. The other group dropped their trailer and brought their truck to cabin. There is only a small turnaround at the end of the street that would be extremely difficult with any trailer. I had to back out the whole street to the highway. Not recommended!!! Getting in the door with key pad can be trying, if any number lights up red just stop and pause start over! We didn’t ride through the yard down to the lake but there is a stump and septic stuff to be aware of. The place is giant a super nice and I will stay again. The trail crosses the street at the highway. You must eat at Blink Bonnie’s and the Wolf Pack.

Two nights at Sandy Cove

We drove for 5 hours and were very tired. When we checked in around 5pm it was like a Shangrila ! All was clean and tidy and so beautiful and QUIET! The boys (15 and 17) took a picnic with them on the first day in the canoe and were gone for about 2 hours! We sat around the firepit in the evening doing S'mores. The only apparatus which did not work was the gas outdoor grill. We were able to light it but the heat didn't get high at all not enough to cook anything so we had to cook our steaks inside-which was fine! All in all a truly beautiful experience and one we will cherish forever-we return to the UK on Sunday , that is the airlines are not all on strike, and we would come here again in a heartbeat. Thank you for a wonderful experience!!

Lovely cabin on the water

Stayed 5 nights with family and friends here and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Overall loved the property. Some specific pros and cons below: Pros: - Beach access was good - Clean spaces - Ample parking - Good for people with kids (pack and play, high chair) - Big dining area - Good for pets (we brought our dog and he was so happy) - Nice fireplace and outdoor fire pit - Nice beach amenities (paddle boat, life jackets, etc) - Large beach area - Beautiful view from cabin - Laundry use - Plenty of bathroom space / showers and no shortage of hot water - Short distance from restaurants/ grocery/ shopping area Cons: - Small kitchen - Keurig didn’t work but took up space - Screen doors didn’t move well at all (this was majorly annoying) - Sporty lake - if you don't have a boat/jet ski etc can be hard to enjoy kayaking or paddle boarding outside of the immediate beach area - Mattresses uncomfortable, would suggest bringing own pillows as well - No garbage disposal - Larger vacuum on site would be appreciated for easier guest cleanup

Nice area

Renting was very nice and easy to use. Area was nice, able to fish had a swing for kids, games and books. Nice large table to eat and tables outside. Kitchen counter space was small. Bathroom water smelt like sewage. Gas grill did not really work only one burner worked and very hard to grill.

Lived up to high expectations

We had a wonderful long Easter weekend at this property. We were blessed with some great weather and had a flawless experience with the home. Very well appointed and supplied kitchen made cooking meals a breeze and in spite of some chilly evenings, the house was warm and comfortable throughout all three levels. TVs and WiFi easy to use when needing a break from the outdoors. We weren’t able to use the outdoor fire pit due to high fire danger but the fireplace worked great for some indoor smores. Lake was gorgeous and crystal clear. I’m sure the canoeing, swimming, and fishing would be excellent when the weather warms. Nice quiet road for walks and plenty of space for our small dog to stretch her legs. LOTS of wildlife to hear and see and pitch black skies for lots of great star viewing at night. Large upper level deck made for a great morning coffee and evening glass of wine spot. Communication from property owners was clear and zero problems experienced during trip. A very good value based on our experiences with other vacation rentals in northern Wisconsin.

Snowmobile trip

Great property. Stayed to hit snowmobile trails, great location, right off trail system. Plenty of sleeping room and good amenities, place was clean. Was a bit cold due to very cold temps outside but fireplace came in handy. Would like to re-visit in summer. Lake access situation looks great! Did not need to contact property management.
