At roughly 2.5 acres of surface area and sandy beaches, The Shores Resort Lagoon is the largest private body of water in the St. George area. The lagoon is the perfect place to swim, kayak, paddleboard, and much more! Recreation equipment can be rented on-site, as well as golf carts and cabanas. Two gorgeous resort pools, oversized hot tubs, ample shaded seating, and 10-foot fire tables are just the beginning of the offerings at The Shores Resort. The Desert Color community hosts fun activities throughout the year—like rooftop yoga, kid’s crafts, food truck nights, and even dive-in movies on the big screen at the pool or lagoon. These events are offered on a rotating basis, so be sure to check the Desert Color event calendar for the latest schedule during your stay!

Great stay for Thanksgiving holiday

We enjoyed our stay! The house was nice and clean and had everything we needed. The pools and hot tubs were perfect. It was a short walk around the corner to a very large hot tub that we relaxed in every night. Our only complaint would be the internet. Cell phone coverage is spotty at Desert Color and the WiFi didn’t work real well. I’m sure we could have asked to have the WiFi fixed but we just made due.

Great, but very noisy at night

The good: This townhouse itself was fantastic! The location was good- you can’t walk to town or restaurants but that was expected. The lagoon was amazing, chilly, but amazing. My teenagers were thrilled that the unit had a paddle board and wagon to carry it in. Comfortable beds, very clean & functional. It’s a skinny 3-story home so lots of stairs. Checking in/out was incredibly easy. Everything located on the property was easy to walk to. The not-so-good: The walls are SO thin! We could hear the kids in the unit behind us, & they weren’t even being obnoxiously loud. I felt like I had turn our TV so low that we could barely hear it, but I didn’t want to annoy neighbors. A group across from us were loud in their hot tub until after 2:00 am. Their noise was only drowned out by a school bus that got trapped in the small parking lot & had back up beepers going from 1:00 to 1:45 am. Why a school bus tried to fit into that tight space at 1:00 in the morning is a mystery. When you’re on vacation it’s not fun to have sleepless nights that lead to grumpy days. Our trip was over Spring Break & we never got to swim in the pool or play pickleball ‘cause they were packed from open to close. A cocktail would have been nice on the warm sand, but alcohol is not allowed in the lagoon or pool areas. In general, everything that the tenant had control over was fantastic; Clean, easy, functional. But, things out of their control were less fantastic; thin walls, & crowded spaces.

This was a gorgeous property that I’d be happy to book again. It was clean, cozy, beautifully decorated with all of the necessities. Construction was extremely loud and the neighbors were also but that can’t be helped. Overall it was an excellent stay.

Fun place for little kids!

Cute condo! Had toys and books perfect for our 2 year old and he loved the bunk beds. The pool and lagoon were close and heated, perfect for this time of year! Would love to stay again.

Perfect!

We loved our stay. This being a newer community, it was between a 10-15 minute drive into “downtown” St. George, but that was not an issue. The unit was very clean, close to community amenities, everything labeled making it easy to find within unit, and very kid friendly. My kids LOVED the bunk room and the arcade games/other games on the top floor. Staying here made our vacation even better!

Loved our stay, would stay again!

We LOVED this property and Desert Color! This unit is beautiful, new, has lots of space, clean, and decorated beautifully. The property is amazing. We loved that they had a paddle board at the house and wagon to shuttle things to the pool with. We will definitely stay again. The only downside was how strict they are with their check-in/check-out policy.

This was the cutest house. It was so clean and in great shape they thought of everything we might need. It was super kid friendly my kids loved the beds, games, toys and books. It was perfect and we would love to come again.
