Artiste rustique / moderne CABINE dans les BOIS

Cabin In the Woods est une ancienne maison de fusil de chasse en cyprÚs et ùgée de plus de 100 ans. Il a été soigneusement rénové avec des larmes d'amour et de savoir-faire par l'artiste / propriétaire. La décoration intérieure présente des illustrations originales du propriétaire. Grande vue du porche arriÚre avec balançoire pour se détendre et profiter de la solitude de l'extérieur.
Les clients ont un accĂšs complet Ă  la cabine dans les bois et Ă  la propriĂ©tĂ© environnante. La cour est ouverte. Les petits enfants et les animaux devront ĂȘtre surveillĂ©s pour assurer leur sĂ©curitĂ©. Le porche arriĂšre est clĂŽturĂ© et dispose d'une porte pour tout-petits / animaux disponibles comme zone confinĂ©e.

Un poĂȘle Ă  bois accentue le salon principal et est entiĂšrement fonctionnel (bois fourni par le propriĂ©taire).
L'eau chaude est toujours laissĂ©e dans la cabine. Par temps froid, la cabine sera prĂ©chauffĂ©e pour votre confort mais il y a du bois d'allumage et du bois si vous souhaitez faire un feu dans le poĂȘle Ă  bois. WIFI
La cabine est à 10 minutes du centre-ville historique de St Francisville et a un accÚs au ruisseau sur la propriété. La cabine est située au centre, avec un accÚs facile aux maisons de plantation, à la réserve naturelle de Cat Island, aux chutes de Tunica et au pÚlerinage d'Audubon du 18 au 20 mars.
Lors de votre séjour dans cette cabane, vous ne serez qu'à quelques minutes de West Feliciana Parks and Recreation. Dans cet hébergement, vous profiterez de prestations de choix comme une laverie. Une cuisine et un micro-ondes sont disponibles dans cette cabane.

The seclusion was fantastic! It was tucked away and the back porch was a great hang out area. The inside of the cabin was decorated so cute, lots of great artwork. It coukd have been dusted a bit more, cobwebs taken down before we got there, but the linens were clean. Overall good stay.

The cabin was just as described on the listing. With that being said, I would probably not chose to stay again. Nothing terribly wrong, but I was looking for a "magical" weekend and this was just ok. Four stars, though, because the host was great with excellent communication!

This was DEFINITELY a cabin in the woods! It was so peaceful out there; heard nothing but chirping birds, crickets, and frogs. We even saw 3 deer just outside of the cabin one morning! We had our own "welcoming committee," a solid gray cat we referred to as Dorian. The cabin was clean inside, but could have used a sweep or two out on the back patio, but it's in the middle of the woods, we didn't expect anything to be immaculate out there. The inside was very clean. A bit of advice if you rent this cabin - bring jug water to cook and make coffee with. The water from the faucet wasn't good, so it made the coffee taste bad. We had bottled water, so we just made more with that. No biggie. Every thing we needed was in the cabin. Nancy was great! She was very sweet and called me to say we could check in early, so we took full advantage of that; we got there early, put our stuff up, rested a bit, then hit the cute lil town of St. Francisville! We did a little antiquing and there was a Pop and Shop going on, so there was a lot of free food and booze in the stores. We both slept like babies. It was quite, the bed was comfortable, and it was cold in the room as there is a wall unit for the bed room that kept the room nice and cold on a hot humid night. There is also an A/C in the living area that worked well in keeping the room cold. I would highly recommend renting Artist Cabin in the Woods.

Great location

Unlike most people who come here to relax, we were doing a Mississippi road trip and used it as a base to explore the area. It is in a great location near a main road, but because of all the woods around it you feel isolated. It was a great place to chill after a day of touring. We loved the back porch swing.

Weekend Getaway

We loved the cottage! It is very private. From the back porch all you see is woods. No sounds other than birds singing. The living room windows down one side of house also look onto private wooded land. Communication was very clear and responsive. Everything was really easy. The A/C in living room is quite ample and the oil heaters were quite toasty the first night.The only thing we had difficulty with was the bed. It is a sleep number, but I found even the lowest number to be painful for fibromyalgia. Luckily, the day bed in the living room was quite comfy!Definitely want to return for a longer stay.Thanks!

Perfect spot

The little cabin in the woods worked perfectly for us! We were in town for a bike race. We had ample room to sleep 4 guys and get showers etcetera. Our hosts were very accommodating and friendly! Even let us clean up after the race! The little fire pit outside was a nice place to relax! I would recommend and return if possible.

Cabin in the woods for the long weekend

Very nice place to stay. Beautiful wooded location with a porch you can sit on and enjoy nature and wildlife, even a friendly cat to visit with. Comfortable bed and nice bathroom. Full kitchen. Plenty of "sitting room". Location is close to many things to do.

Cozy Cabin-Perfect Romantic Get-A-Way

If you are traveling to St. Francisville, BOOK THIS CABIN!! It is centrally located and close to many sites in town. The photos show a fraction of the cabin's beauty. Large living room with space for plenty to spread out. Loft with a bed. King bed in bedroom. Fans, heaters, games, activities for kids, linens, towels, pots--you name it, the owner has it stocked! We certainly did not want to leave once our stay ended and we will definitely be back.

Can’t believe this was this is what we paid for!

The kitchen was so small you had to stand outside of it to open the fridge door. The shower was I’m gonna say 2‘ x 2‘. You couldn’t even bend down to wash. There was no privacy in the bathroom. It was 40° and they just had insufficient space heaters. We were freezing and wore 2 sets of sweatpants all week. The woodstove did not work with the poor ventilation and wet wood. What they called a grill was one of those tiny camper Colemans that fit one steak. We had to ask the host for another roll of toilet paper. A day later she responded. If you’re in the mood to go camping like in a tent camping, This property is comparable. The host should be embarrassed that she charges what she does. We stayed there for Thanksgiving and I am obviously still quite upset by it, but overtime it was so bad it will be laughable!

Anniversary getaway

We were looking for a quiet spot to celebrate our anniversary, but with easy access to activities in Saint Francisville. This property was the right choice. Although there is a house next-door and an airstream that looked like a residence, you still got the feeling of wooded privacy, especially on the back porch which was the perfect spot for morning, coffee, and an evening glass of wine. Both the kitchen and bathroom are small, but we did not do any cooking, and also spent most of the day away from the property so this was not an issue for us. The property is not luxurious, but rather has a cabin in the woods feel, which is what we were looking for. We definitely recommend this property and hope to make our trip an annual visit.
