Beech Lodge benefits from being ideally positioned mid-way between Padstow and Newquay, set in beautiful Cornish countryside and within a short drive of the striking North Atlantic coastline. Located at the esteemed Retallack Resort, the luxurious lodge has been refurbished in 2019 with attention to detail throughout, providing comfortably accommodation for eight guests across its spacious two levels. From the decked balconies, guests can gaze out across the delightful countryside and draw inspiration from the tranquil surroundings. The balcony area also provides the perfect setting for a dining alfresco.



For a really unique experience grab your board and take a ride on the on-site wave machine. Here you will find waves all year round and fun for all the family, whether participating or simply a spectator there is guaranteed fun to be had by all. Additional costs apply for this facility which can be booked by the hour. On-site guests can play a round on the pitch and putt or visit the restaurant and bar.

Both Padstow and Newquay occupy prominent positions on the North Cornwall coast, whilst offering contrasting experiences. The lively surf resort of Newquay provides an array of glorious sandy beaches home to numerous surf spots and popular amongst walkers along the coastal path. In contrast, Padstow is characterised by its picturesque harbour, where a variety of boat trips depart from, whilst back on land the town has built up a healthy gastronomic reputation.

For guests looking to explore further afield, Cornwall is home to a variety of attractions within just a short drive. Spend a day visiting the world famous Eden Project and Lost Gardens of Heligan, discover the county capital of Cornwall or simply seek out any number of traditional Cornish villages dotted throughout the countryside. If stately homes and gardens appeal to you then Cornwall is proudly home to a number of National Trust estates, showcasing magnificent grounds with visually stunning properties.

When the sun goes down, and after a busy day exploring, you can wine and dine the night away at any number of acclaimed restaurants in the close vicinity, including Rick Stein’s restaurants in Padstow.

Beech Lodge can be booked together with Ash Lodge (ref BCRETASH) and Cedar Lodge (ref BCRETCED) to accommodate up to 22 guests.
