The Cherry St House is a spacious, dog-friendly 4-bedroom home in Springfield`s Rountree neighborhood, steps from Missouri State University and minutes from Cox South Hospital and Mercy Hospital. With 4 bedrooms, 5 beds, and room for up to 10 guests, this is the home that fits the whole group under one roof without anyone booking a separate hotel room.

Inside you will find four bedrooms with comfortable sleeping arrangements for the whole group, a fully stocked kitchen and coffee bar, a large dining area, a comfortable living room with smart TV, washer and dryer, and fast WiFi throughout.

Outside, the yard is fully fenced on all sides with a firepit and covered porches. Up to 2 dogs are welcome with a pet agreement. Dogs must remain off furniture and off carpeted surfaces. The upstairs area is carpeted and off limits for pets.

Pets
Dogs are welcome at The Cherry St House. Up to 2 well-mannered, house-trained dogs with current vaccinations are welcome per stay. A non-refundable pet fee applies: $50 for stays up to 7 nights, $125 for stays of 8 nights or longer. Due to insurance restrictions the following breeds are not permitted: Pit Bull, Rottweiler, Chow, Doberman Pinscher, German Shepherd, Siberian Husky, Alaskan Malamute, Akita, American Staffordshire Terrier, Great Dane, Perro de Presa Canario, Wolf Hybrid, Dogo Argentino, Fila Brasileiro, and Japanese Tosa.


No Smoking or Vaping
Smoking or vaping of any kind is prohibited inside the property or within 15 feet of any door or window. This applies to all tobacco products, cannabis, and electronic cigarettes. Violation results in a minimum $500 cleaning fee plus additional charges for odor removal or damage.


Cleanliness and Property Care
Please treat the home with respect. Report any spills or damage promptly so we can address them quickly. Bag and place all trash in the designated outdoor bins before checkout. Excessive cleaning beyond normal use will incur an additional fee starting at $150.

Trash Disposal
All trash must be bagged and placed in the designated bins before checkout.

Plumbing
Only flush toilet paper. Do not dispose of wipes, hygiene products, grease, or coffee grounds in sinks or toilets. Guests will be charged for any plumbing issues caused by improper disposal.

Registered Guests Only
Only guests listed on the reservation may stay overnight. Unauthorized guests will incur a $50 per person, per night fee and may result in early termination of the stay.

Quiet Hours
Quiet hours are in effect from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Guests must be respectful of neighbors at all times. Excessive noise or complaints may result in a warning, immediate termination of the stay, or additional charges.

Legal and Compliance Terms
Residential use only. No business or illegal activity. Subletting is not allowed. Host may enter with reasonable notice for maintenance or safety. Guests are responsible for their own safety and belongings. Home Stay Springfield MO is not liable for injury, accident, or theft. Lost items are held for 14 days before donation. This agreement is governed by Missouri and City of Springfield laws.

The Cherry St. House was the perfect place for our family to stay. Great location - a very short walk to a handful of local restaurants and shops, a few blocks to MO State campus and a short drive to anything else you'd need. Very clean and full of so many little extra touches. Nicely updated interior that kept the charm of a really lovely house. Great spaces to hang out including a huge front porch and incredible backyard. Dana is super responsive and check-in was a breeze. We're already booked to stay again.

Second time staying at the Cherry St. House and this visit confirmed it's one of the best rentals we've ever experienced. Every little detail is thought of in this house. We stayed 5 nights for a wedding and had family coming and going, and everyone was impressed by this house. Local friends and family wanted to tell their own visitors about it. The huge dining room table was perfect for hosting dinner for 8 on two different nights. The neighborhood cannot be beat - walk to breakfast, lunch, dinner, drinks, dessert - and support a bunch of local businesses. Great host is is super responsive and has created a real gem in a fun neighborhood.

The host thought of EVERYTHING you could possibly need during a stay. Lovely touches throughout the house. We were fortunate to be staying during the holiday season so the house was decorated beautifully for Christmas. The neighborhood is located near many small businesses and within (a hearty) walking distance from our family that lives in Springfield so was very convenient for us.

Family Weekend

Hands down the very best VRBO experience we have had. The home was absolutely beautiful inside and out. The decor and attention to detail far surpass expectations. Our host Dana was beyond helpful, and her creativity and support of local businesses with candles, soaps and bath products enhanced our experience. Wow!!!!! We loved this home. Sooooo clean and immaculate inside. Both the front porch and the backyard were amazing!!!! Walking distance to an adorable cocktail lounge with outdoor seating and a brewery with wine and cocktails as well. Loved the band outside at the brewery too! Walking distance to campus which was so fun!

This was our first Vrbo experience and we were nervous about the process. The folks at Cherry Street house made it all super easy and pleasant! Fantastic Experience

Dana and Steve nailed it... from the easy check and wonderful accommodations to the thoughtful appointments and timely communications. The location of the property is brilliant. We enjoyed each morning on the front porch, and ended the day in the back with a glass of wine and bonfire. thanks for a great visit and looking forward to seeing you in a few weeks for a second!
