Welcome to The Cairo St Bungalow, a bright and cozy 2-bedroom, 1-bath cottage in Springfield, MO, just minutes from Missouri State University, major hospitals, and the charming Rountree District. This small-but-mighty home is a true gem, offering a peaceful setting, fast WiFi, a fully equipped kitchen, and thoughtful work-friendly touches—perfect for professionals, couples, or small families.

Designed for comfort and functionality, the Cairo St Bungalow features a full-sized bed and desk in one bedroom and a queen bed with built-in charging outlets and a reading nook in the other, plus a convenient bathroom with shower/tub combo and comfort-height toilet. Inside, you`ll enjoy a galley kitchen with farmhouse sink and gas stove, a dining room with seating for four and a dedicated workspace, a stylish living room with leather couch and 55-inch smart TV, and a cozy sunroom that`s ideal for morning coffee or quiet evenings.

Outside, relax on the covered front porch with swing or head to the large backyard for evenings around the firepit, grilling, or lounging in the hammock. The yard is partially fenced on three sides, so it`s great for hanging out but pets must be supervised or leashed for their safety. Up to two dogs are welcome with a pet agreement and additional pet fee; full details are provided at booking.

Located in the friendly Frisco Heights neighborhood, you`ll enjoy easy walks to nearby shops, restaurants, and attractions, with quick access to Missouri State University, Cox and Mercy Hospitals, Bass Pro Shops, downtown venues, and the vibrant Rountree District. For extended or mid-term stays, please inquire directly for customized rates and options.

2. Safety & Restricted Areas-For everyone’s safety, please do not enter any locked or marked areas of the property.
3. Dogs-Up to two well-mannered, house-trained dogs with current vaccinations are welcome.
A pet cleaning fee applies to all dog-friendly stays.
4. No Smoking or Vaping-Smoking or vaping of any kind is prohibited inside the home and within 15 feet of doors or windows. Additional cleaning fees of up to $500 may apply for violations.
5. Cleanliness & Care-Please treat the home with respect. Report spills or damages promptly so we can address them quickly.
6. Trash Disposal-Bag and place all trash in the designated bins before checkout.
7. Plumbing-Only flush toilet paper. Do not dispose of wipes, hygiene products, grease, or coffee grounds in sinks or toilets.
8. Registered Guests Only- Unauthorized guests will incur a $50 per-person, per-night fee.

✅ This property has special local compliance requirements which include a signed rental agreement, ID verification, and a security hold of $1000 (which is not a traditional security deposit, just a pending transaction). As an optional alternative to the security hold, you may opt in to purchase a non-refundable damage waiver provided by a third-party insurance company. 2. Booking, Verification & Security Hold

‱ ID verification is required to match the reservation name.
‱ A $1000 security hold will be placed prior to check-in. This is not a charge or traditional deposit—it’s a temporary pending transaction.
‱ Guests may choose an optional $40 non-refundable damage waiver for stays up to 10 nights (plus $2 per additional night).
All steps are completed easily and securely through Happy Guest, a website (not an app) that gives you access to house info and local recommendations.

4. Pets
We’re happy to welcome dogs at The Cherry St House, The Cherry St Main Floor, and The Cairo St Bungalow. Unfortunately, The Disco Loft isn’t suited for pets. Up to two dogs are allowed per stay, and a small pet cleaning fee will be added to all reservations that include dogs. All dogs must be house-trained, well-behaved, and never left unattended inside or outside the home. Due to insurance restrictions, the following breeds (and their mixes) are not permitted: Pit Bull, Rottweiler, Chow, Doberman, German Shepherd, Husky, Akita, Great Dane, Dogo Argentino, Fila Brasileiro, and similar breeds.
Guests are responsible for any pet-related damage or extra cleaning required after their stay. We recommend selecting the optional $40 damage waiver to help protect against unexpected incidents.

5. Legal & Compliance Terms
‱ Use of Property: Residential use only. No business or illegal activity.
‱ Subletting: Not allowed.
‱ Inspection: Host may enter with reasonable notice for maintenance or safety.

Our family went to visit our son at college. Location and accommodations 10/10 compared to staying at a hotel. Super clean accommodations, attentive property manager, walking distance to campus. Zero complaints with this property.
