Lake Retreat | Comfortable Vacation Rental Near the Lake

This beautiful Spring Lake home is the perfect location for your vacation destination. Only 200 yards away you will find public beach access at Spring Lake and Grand Haven State Park is just a quick four-mile drive. If you're bringing your boat, you can find a public boat launch at Petty's Bayou. Don't forget your kayak, the launch at Parkhurst Walk is just steps away. There is also a fire pit to gather your family around in the evening.

This three bedroom, two and a half bath home comfortably will sleep ten people with a queen bed in the master bedroom while the second bedroom has a set of two bunk beds. You'll find a good night's sleep in a double bed in bedroom three leaving the upper-level loft which has a twin bed with a twin trundle. Dinner will be a breeze on the gas grill after a long day at the beach. Don't forget to challenge the family to a game of ping pong in the garage! This is a pet friendly home!

Grand Haven is located on the shores of Lake Michigan. We are a quaint, little beach town recently named the "Happiest Seaside Town in America," by Coastal Living Magazine. Here, your family will find Grand Haven State Park, which was voted in the Top 10 Best Beaches in the world by Travel+Leisure Magazine. The boardwalk stretches one and a half miles, beginning at Chinook Pier and ending at the iconic red lighthouse. Historic, affordable, and amusing, the trolley is continually traveling throughout the waterfront and downtown areas dropping you off at any desired location. This property is located in the Village of Spring Lake where there is a great bike path that runs through town that will take you to enjoy a few of the downtown stores and hometown restaurants. At the end of the day, grab a blanket to sit on and head to the Waterfront Stadium where the whole family can enjoy the Musical Fountain. This synchronized lights, water, and music show has coined the title "World's Largest." This free show plays nightly at dusk throughout the summer. Lucky for you, all of this is just minutes away and waiting for you to revel in.

Overall a good property and enjoyable experience. Great location, and accommodating space and layout. Minor issues; sticky doors (front, master door wall and kitchen pantry), and no kitchen cleaning supplies like sponge and surface/counter cleaner.

Lovely home and amenities! Great location only 1 block from the lake with a little beach area and picnic tables. Gorgeous sunsets! Nice fenced in backyard for children to play in and a fun ping pong table in garage. Included 3 bikes and a pretty neighbor in which to ride. Would have liked mattress pads on the beds and check out instructions on the board but those are the only recommendations. Clean and well-stocked home. Would absolutely book again!

Home was very clean and we enjoyed the area very much period it would be beneficial to have some simple amenities such as spices, hair dryer. Maybe extra blankets period it is a home set up for a family with small children and not as accommodating for multiple. Couples and older adults would be nice to have king and Queen size beds, the bedroom in the basement is non-functional.

60th birthday party celebration!

Our family enjoyed a marvelous time at this beach retreat. We had gorgeous views of Spring Lake. We brought our boat and two jet skis and the long drive way Accommodated all! The fenced in beautiful grassy yard was perfect for our two Irish setters who enjoyed as well.five stars and we will definitely be back!

We had a great time and loved the location of the property. Having the beach so close was very convenient. Something we would recommend for future guests is having a back up gas tank for the grill on hand. You never know when the tank will run out, and could happen in the middle of cooking. We were nervous this was going to happen to us.

Open floor plan, large family friendly!

We are a large family, and finding a place to accommodate us is often challenging. This house was perfect! There were enough beds for everyone and plenty of room to roam! Some things we loved outdoors: Backyard to play in (fenced in) Bikes to ride Ping-pong table in garage Bike trail one block away Fire pit (we roasted s’mores!) Cute little beach one block away! Some things we loved indoors: In the basement, there is a microphone and ‘stage’ that our kids loved to perform on! Washer/dryer (because, kids) TV has plenty of free channels (Or you can log into your personal Netflix) 3 bathrooms! Games, books, and a few toys Built in baby gates at the top and bottom of the stairs It felt very roomy with the cathedral ceilings, open floor plan, and a ton of windows! Overall, we would definitely rent this house again if we end up in that area in the future!
