Glamping in Spicewood TX Hill Country ~ The Cowgirl at Green Acres

"The Cowgirl" , our Vintage 1959 Fireball is one of our uniquely decorated trailers at Green Acres Spicewood. She goes by several names like the “77”, the “Fireball” and the “Sisters on the fly”. Her previous owner and decorator was a member number 77 of the famous female outdoor adventure group, The Sisters on the Fly. Our 112 sq. ft. fireball comes complete with her “Cowgirl Chic” decor, two twin beds, a coffee maker, microwave and refrigerator. Everything you and your bestie need for a fun getaway is there including luxury robes and towels for our fabulous bathhouse. This camper sleeps 2 comfortably!

Green Acres Spicewood is a newly renovated glamping retreat that offers our guests a chance to enjoy the Texas Hill Country & experience glamping all in one. This collection of 4 tiny cabins and 8 vintage RV's rest on 20 acres of beautiful countryside on Highway 71.

Each unit has access to The Bathhouse that consists of 4 bathrooms (2 indoor spa like bathrooms with showers) 2 outdoor showers, a community sitting area, laundry room, full-size refrigerator, and ice machine.

Each unit also has access to the outdoor area with a playground (adult must be present), hammocks, BBQ pits, fire pits (must follow county guidelines if there is a burn ban in effect), corn hole, room to walk and enjoy our property, and outdoor dining areas. We do allow dogs, but they must be on the leash at all times as we have free range ducks and chickens that roam the property. We also have a dog park and dog wash station available!

The property is yours to explore. Build a fire, BBQ with friends, travel to the surrounding vineyards, and so much more. Spend your mornings with a cup of coffee on the porch and your evenings in our outdoor area with a beverage of your choice! Come escape with us at Green Acres Spicewood.

Our First Time Glamping

This was such an amazing experience. We had a very warm greeting and given a little tour around. Loved all the little details and the amenities were amazing as well. Very clean and spacious. We stayed in the Cowgirl. It was so cute. They had everything that we needed. Even items for smores!! Next time we’ll invite more friends to rent as well. We will definitely be coming back and tell everyone about this little hidden gem!!! Thank you so much.

A great spot

Green Acres is great all-around! The owners are responsive and interact with everyone while on the property in person or over the app. The amenities were more than I expected with not needing to bring much more than food and clothing. Coffee, detergant, wood/fire starter, and bath supplies are all provided--which makes planning a lot simpler. Property is spread out to make exploring fun and the large common area is great for lounging around. Great atmosphere for lounging outside or in the clubhouse. Be sure to grab an outdoor shower experience!

Love this place! Second time staying here

We visited last year, and when we had the opportunity to come back this year, we made a point to stay in exactly the same unit this time around! This property has everything you need, and is thoughtfully decorated as well. The air conditioning in the trailer is wonderfully powerful, and the bathroom/clubhouse is new and has tons of amenities. We will be back.

Perfect place to stay!

This was a really fun spot to stay and everything I could have needed was just there! I wish we could have stayed longer! The other guests were friendly and the host was fast to respond to any questions and was courteous and professional. The grounds are just lovely and a treat to explore. This has to be one of the best places to stay on vrbo. 😁 Well done!

Over the top!

My son and I went for a weekend getaway. When we arrived we were not expecting anything like this. We could have never left the property. Everything was spotless clean with so many extras. Snacks everywhere you look, hammocks, swings, sitting areas, walking paths, fun photo opportunities, dog park, playground and so much more. The owners are super friendly and you can tell they have put their hart into every detail. We will definitely be coming back very soon!
