Piney Ridge Cabin is an adorable 2 bedroom 2/bath cabin nestled in a quiet gated community. This cozy well appointed cabin has gorgeous views out onto the meadows and landscape galore! Piney Ridge Cabin has all the amenities of home and more. This cabin is a wonderful getaway for small families and couples. Enjoy the rocking chairs and sunset views from the decks or curl up by the fire and read a book.
For those hot summer days be sure to visit Falls Creek Falls State Park and their Olympic-sized pool with children’s wading pool, bathhouses and a snack bar. Lifeguards on Duty. Open 10am-5:30pm June/July Daily – August Weekends Only - $6 pp, per day; children 2 and under free. Beautiful Fall Creek Falls State Park is also home to 21 waterfalls, 4 suspension bridges, lakes, and hiking trails. Other hiking favorites are: Savage Falls, Cummins Falls, Burgess Falls, Virgin Falls and more. There are also multiple local fishing spots, backroads and walking trails to explore. Other notable attractions are: Bone's Cave (16 mi), Cumberland Caverns (18mi), Falcon's Rest (20 mi), and Rock Island State Park (22 mi). Be sure to see Liberty Lodge Cabin VRBO #1486451 that is located right beside Piney Ridge. These cabins are great for multi families!

Beautiful View

The cabin was overall great! It could have been a little cleaner, but it was still comfortable. It was a perfect location to stay if you’re there to visit the falls. The view of the horses, horse stable and pond were beautiful, especially during the sunset! My only regret is that I didn’t fish that pond. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Overall good experience. The cabin could have been a little cleaner (refrigerator, dishes, showers). The a/c-heat didn't seem to work but it wasn't terribly cold and was able to make do with the fireplace.

Comfortable Cabin Charm

We had a wonderful stay with our dear friends visiting the area. Very comfortable beds and bedding (and I'm very particular), immaculately clean and quiet location with picturesque views over the horse pasture. The hot tub was already heated and running, and SO nice for an evening soak. Excellent communication back from the property manager. We would have given perfect marks, except there were some annoying issues in the kitchen (stove bulb out, microwave handle broken, utensil drawer missing needed items.) But again I want to emphasize the overall comfort in the home; central AC and heat was great as well. We had no issues with mice or bat guano as others mentioned. We very much appreciated our stay!

Nightmare - mice and poisoning in kid’s beds

When we arrived the kids lifted the pillows and there was a pile of mouse poisoning they thought was rock candy and it got on everything. The same poisoning was in bags that were gnawed through in various places in the house. I contacted the owner and she suggested mice had been being poisoning into the bed and to wash bedding. We weren’t comfortable staying so she let us stay in her other property next door. When putting the kids to bed, we saw mice in the floor and my husband went and bought mouse traps. The owners couldn’t be reached. When he got back there was a mouse on the stairs and under the covers of the bed. We had put the kids in another bed and he stayed up watching for mice. It was horrific. The kids were scared and we couldn’t find anywhere to go stay that night. We have stayed in cabins for over 10 years and never had this happen. The owners did not return our messages even the next morning regarding the nightmare. When I finally reached the owner, she told me they would give us a refund but then ignored my messages since. I’m going through VRBO now to try to get my money back. I would suggest never renting from this owner and never visiting these mouse infested properties.

Quiet cabin in gated community. Easy to find, codes worked, bigger than we expected (there was a loft)! We enjoyed the view, the comfy rooms, the kitchen, and the hot tub!

Hiking Weekend with Friends

We stayed Friday and Saturday night. We hiked all day Saturday. The inside of the cabin worked perfectly for 4 women to stay and be comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and we had plenty of towels/ linens. My only complaint is the cleanliness of the outside area. Bats reside on the front porch and leave their droppings. The back table and chairs need a good cleaning. The hot tub worked perfect and was clean!

“30th” girls birthday trip

The cabin was really cute and the scenery around us with quiet and very private. We loved watching a movie while hanging out in the hot tub. We went to Fall Creek Falls and walked around, which was close to the cabin. We would suggest better toilet paper, and more cooking pans and pots if you are doing alot of cooking. The couch upstairs may need replacing, it kinda sinks in when you sit on it, but other than that everything was great. We had a great weekend.

Family getaway

Cabin was nice, high ceiling, lights, loft upstairs was perfect for games and watching movies. The first day we didn't have water and contacted the property manager. The issue was fixed and no problem after. Kitchen is a little small for being a large cabin. The views are awesome and was pleasant seeing the horses every morning.

Wonderful family weekend stay

Thank you for offering your accommodations! We were there for the traithalon and the convenience was great. The views were so peaceful and calming and the sunset was beautiful. The house had everything we needed and the check in and check out was so easy! Looking forward to our next visit!

Piney Ridge cabin needs some upgrades

Overall the property is nice, sometimes getting through the security gate is tedious and the code doesn't always work. The cabin itself was nice- the kitchen trashcan is tiny and needs to be upgraded to larger, and the lighting is horrific- very dark. We found when we got there these properties are listed for sale, so maybe that is why they are being a little neglected. The land surrounding it is beautiful though and it's super convenient to the state park.

Fall Creek Falls State Park Vacation

Nice place in a gated resort near Fall Creek Falls State Park. Bring a camp towel and water shoes on all your hikes as most of the falls have nice pools you can enter if you like. Gas grill was nice, but be sure to use the lighter in lieu of the starter on the grill. The back deck was shaded all the time and it was nice to be out there even when the temps were in the upper 80s. The cornhole game was broken and even if it had not been broken left something to be desired.

3 night stay at cabin

Loved this cabin! Location is close to fall creek falls . It was so peaceful. Cabin was clean. The view was amazing. We loved Watching the sun set on the front porch and grilling on the back porch. I can't think of anything to complain about. Everything was perfect. The only thing I'd say needed attending to was the washing machine. It needed a good cleaning but other than that, everything was very neat and clean.

Beautiful stay near Fall Creek Falls

We enjoyed our stay at this clean, pretty cabin. We loved the porch swing and the peaceful view of the horses. Everything was comfortable as well. The location is minutes from the park entrance, and is very convenient. The hot-tub is right by the bedroom, so guests will hear it running during the night, but we got used to the sound.

The property was close to fall creek falls which is what peaked our interest but the cabin was exactly what we were looking for. Enough space for the family and friends we were bringing, a hot tub, a grill, even a fire pit. The neighborhood was also beautiful and quiet. We will be staying there again
