Escape to this cozy, renovated, country cottage just 2 miles from the charming Sparta square. Relax in comfort on luxurious queen mattresses in one of the 3 bedrooms offering 2 showers and a soaking tub. The home has a lofted ceiling, welcoming couch, and a large screen TV to catch a movie. The fully equipped stylish kitchen has quartz-ite counters, a copper sink, and gas stove. Amenities include AC, heat, fast WiFi, laundry washer/dryer, and hair dryers. Outside, enjoy a fire pit and a side porch with a hot tub, dining table and a sitting area. Sit in the front porch rockers and watch the sun rise above the Cumberland Plateau. Creator’s Cottage is a great home base for enjoying the parks, trails, falls, lakes, and rivers nearby in any direction you travel or exploring the quant shops and restaurants downtown-or just a clean, comfortable place to rest on your way. The cottage, the property and the amenities were fantastic. Tucked away, yet easy access to the parks and charming downtown Sparta. Thoroughly enjoyed our girls weekend. Comfortable cottage, clean with available appliances, and basically everything we needed.

This was a great choice to stay in Sparta! If you look it up on Zillow it may say a 1 bedroom studio but it has been renovated into a 3 bed 3 bath house. The house was nicely remodeled and had a great bbq on the back patio, that was nice! The owner was very kind and responded quickly. We asked for an early check in which he said would be fine if no one was staying the night before, I inquired again before our stay and he said that would be no problem. We asked to stay an additional night and he was very accommodating. The only issue i had was that at 10am the cleaner was here to clean the house and we were not ready. I am use to checking out at 11:00 am and thought that was pretty standard. However when I doubled checked the website it did say check out was 10 am. However, this was awkward as the cleaner was there and the owner said he was already accommodating and we would need to leave. We grabbed our stuff and sat outside for over an hour waiting for an uber which is not very common in this area. This was super awkward. He said he gave me a free day which I did not understand so I paid him an extra 250 because I don't want any hand outs or to take advantage. Just a miscommunication but still awkward. So be ready to leave at exacty 10 am.

The cottage was perfect for our family of 5. There were so many amenities that I appreciated
 a well stocked kitchen with stainless steel pans ( instead of old peeling teflon pans like we usually see in rental properties ) spices, plenty of bath towels for everyone, extra blankets, soaps and detergents, the hot tub, the Green Egg grill (my husbands favorite), the outdoor swinging day bed (my favorite). I wish we had longer to relax and enjoy the quiet country setting. Thank you, Gary for being an amazing host!

We met with long time friends that haven’t all been together in two years at least. We spent much time just chatting in the living room. It’s a very pretty area in the fall. We enjoyed and would stay again. Gary was very nice and accommodating. We really only had one question the day before our stay and answered almost immediately.

Are you considering a stay in Sparta? Book this cottage! The host was easy going and welcoming! The Cottage is stunningly beautiful. Nothing here but the best quality. No cast off, mismatched silverware or plates. The exquisite tub is in a separate spa-like room. We enjoyed family meals, watched a movie and a football game together, and made some good memories. The Cottage is close to the White County Fairgrounds where we attended an event. Walmart is a few miles away and Kroger delivery is available from Cookeville.

I've stayed in many rental homes, and this one exceeded all expectations! Our home was very clean and comfortable. Our host was available and attentive to any need we may have had - but Gary is on top of it! He's thought of everything - ROCKSTAR HOST!

Our stay at this charming 3-bed, 3-bath country cottage on the edge of town was absolutely perfect! From the moment we arrived, we could tell how much love and care went into the full renovation. The house beautifully combines modern updates with cozy cottage charm spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed in every detail.The location was ideal peaceful and private, yet just minutes from town for anything we needed. We loved waking up to quiet mornings with beautiful country views, and ending our evenings gathered together in the warm, inviting living space. Each bedroom was spacious and comfortable, and having three full bathrooms made it easy for our group to relax and enjoy without ever feeling crowded.The kitchen was fully equipped, making it a joy to cook meals together, and everything we could possibly need was provided. The hosts went above and beyond to make sure our stay was seamless, welcoming, and memorable.We can’t recommend this home enough it was the perfect getaway spot in Tennessee. We left refreshed, grateful, and already talking about when we can come back. If you’re considering this home, don’t hesitate it’s truly a 5-star stay!

The home was newly renovated and the host did an excellent job creating a modern farmhouse design. Gary (our host) supplied us with everything we needed to have an awesome experience including coffee, spices, water, firewood, detergent, soaps, etc. We enjoyed the hot tub and made a huge bonfire. If we ever come back we would definitely stay there again!

Fantastic Stay

We had such a wonderful stay at this country cottage! Everything was lovely. The cottage itself is beautiful—inside and out. It had everything we needed, including the extra perk of a hot tub! We enjoyed watching fireflies at dusk and coffee on the porch in the morning. The rooms had a great set-up and the beds were extra comfortable. Our host, Gary, was so kind and helpful. You can tell that a lot of thought went into preparing this place for guests. We only wish we could have stayed longer! If you’re even close to this area, stay here and spend as long as you can at this beautiful spot!

Family get together

We were visiting from Florida my sister and her family. The cottage was just perfect. Ee soent mist of the time with the family but the property and the accommodations were just right. The cabin had thevoerfect amount if rooms and amenities, we did not need anything except we did have to get our groceries for the week. But other then that it was great. Cabin was cozy and we were very comfortable. We give it a 10 out of 10

Great place

We really enjoyed our stay here. House is newly renovated, very clean and comfortable. It’s set up with everything you need to feel at home, pots, pans all the kitchen necessities, clean towels etc. Beds are super comfortable and the tv was HUGE. Unfortunately we didn’t get to use the fire pit which was all set up for us but did get to enjoy the hot tub. Gary was great and responded quickly when we had questions before booking. Looking forward to staying again.
