To the left, the expansive living room boasts a luxurious leather couch, a smart TV with access to your favorite streaming services, and a queen-sized murphy bed. With a door for privacy, this space easily doubles as a second bedroom. For added convenience, a washer and dryer are located in the closet.

Down the central hallway, you’ll find a cozy bedroom featuring a queen-sized bed, dressers, and a closet for plenty of storage. The bathroom includes both a shower and a tub for relaxing after your adventures. A desk in the oversized hallway provides a peaceful spot to work or plan your next outing.

Step outside the living room to your private patio, perfect for alfresco dining with seating options for four. Beyond, enjoy the shared wooded backyard with a fire pit for starlit evenings. Feeling adventurous? Pitch a tent on our unique woodland platform for a night under the pines.

From our home, you can walk to Acadia’s breathtaking trails, a swimmable beach, a golf course (with a bar open to the public!), and the charming restaurants and shops of Southwest Harbor. Need tips or directions? We’re happy to help you make the most of your stay.

Flying Mountain Apartment is a walkout ground-level retreat in our family home, located in a peaceful wooded neighborhood. You’ll have the entire apartment to yourself, with your hosts nearby for any assistance you may need.
