Welcome to Emerald Lodge! A brand-new construction luxury mountain home located in South Pittsburgh, TN! This home sits high above Lake Nickajak and is a quick 30-minute scenic drive along the TN river to Downtown Chatt. This home is private and secluded, offering views of the lake through the trees during the wintertime. This 5 BR/4.5 BTH home is beyond spacious with upscale furnishings and design for up to 12 guests. This is one incredible mountain lodge that you will not want to leave!

Our Favorite Things About This Home:
Upon entering the front door on the main level, the open concept living, kitchen, and dining areas will WOW you from the start! This home is like stepping into a magazine. Vaulted ceilings and tall windows elevate the space, making you feel as if you are experiencing nature all around you with the warm light welcoming you in. Enjoy the gorgeous stone fireplace while watching a movie or with your morning coffee on the large sectional. The kitchen offers brand new appliances and is fully stocked with everything you will need to cook a meal. Including a pancake griddle, crockpot, and Nespresso machine in addition to a dual 12-cup drip coffee maker that also offers a single cup. Downstairs the whole family will enjoy the game room that offers a pool table, 2 large flat screen TVs and games for people to play. Go out to the back patio where the hot tub will be a frequently used amenity during your stay, as well as the big outdoor wood fire pit and charcoal grill!

Family Friendly:
This home is very family friendly! We happily provide a stair gate for the upstairs landing, a pack n'play travel crib, sound machines in every bedroom and plasticware for kids to use in the kitchen. There are Alexa Bluetooth devices situated all throughout the house as well as TV's in all bedrooms, except the bunk room.

Home Layout:
Immediately to the right of the front door you will find a Queen bedroom with a full bathroom attached. Left from the front door there is a half bath right off the living room, a large laundry room, and a very large master bedroom featuring a soaking tub, a large glass shower, and a double vanity. The staircase leading downstairs is the secondary living room with a pool table and games, with double doors leading to the back patio where you will find the hot tub, fire pit, and grill. There are 3 bedrooms downstairs as well as 2 full bathrooms. The bunk room has 4 twin bunks, and the other 2 bedrooms have queen sized beds.

Things to Know About The Property:
1. In the winter, there are beautiful views of Lake Nickajak through the trees but once the leaves are on the trees, you will not be able to see the lake. (Additional exterior photos will be taken and updated on the property in early June once leaves are on the trees)
2. 10 minutes from this home is Hales Bar Marina where you can rent a pontoon boat and there is a Nickajack Bat Cave Kayak Tour where you are led on a guided kayak trip through a cave!
3. Please note: As advertised above, this home is on a mountain above Lake Nikajack and there is a steep asphalt paved residential road to get to the home! Once at the top, a heavily textured concrete driveway drops down to the home where there is parking for 5 vehicles. Any normal passenger vehicle should be able to make it to the home with no problems but 4x4 or all-wheel drive is recommended during icy conditions.
4. Parking: MAX amount of parking available is for 5 medium/large size vehicles.
5. Nespresso: we happily provide 4 complimentary Nespresso pods per reservation in addition to a starter amount of medium roast ground coffee for the regular drip coffee pot in the kitchen.
6. Security Cameras: There are security cameras on the exterior of this home.

HOT TUBS:
Please advise!! Hot tub maintenance is very important and it's some thing that we take very seriously in between guest reservations. If the hot tub has to be dumped for sanitary and health safety reasons on a turnover day when the property is booked back to back, it may take 8-12 hours for it to reach high temps. We do the best we can to be proactive with this but ultimately it is out of our control to make the hot tub heat up faster. Health and safety for our guests is very important to us. We ask all of our guests that book to bring their own Hot Tub Towels.

Weather and Outages!
Please note: There will be no refunds in the unlikely circumstance that there is a power outage during your stay or if the weather is not cooperating. We do not have any control over the weather or outages caused by nature! We highly suggest you purchase travel insurance to be preventative in case something happens and you need to cancel.

We operate under a strict cancellation policy, according to this property's cancellation policy. We do not offer refunds for cancellations, date changes, early departures, weather-related issues, personal circumstances, or travel disruptions of any kind.

For this reason, we strongly recommend that all guests purchase travel insurance at checkout to protect their investment. Travel insurance is the only way to safeguard against unexpected events that may impact your ability to travel.
