Rent bikes at Beach Bikes on Padre to cruise the neighborhood, or drive up to the South Padre Island Farmer's Market to sample the island's artisan and farm-fresh goods. Enjoy a fun outing for the whole family at Isla Blanca Waterpark, just a short drive home. Or, explore the island on horseback at the South Padre Island Adventure Park, just under 10 miles from home.

THINGS TO KNOW
This property is in a strict HOA presence. They require guests to be 25 years of age and must inhabit a rented unit. You are NOT allowed to have guests during Spring Break or Easter Holiday (Semana Santa). From Memorial Day to Labor Day, all guests are required to purchase and wear a La Solana wristband for $5.00

Dock details: Guests may access the boat slip and dock, which is 34-feet by 9-feet. Only bay boats are allowed; no offshore boars. The water depth rangers from one to five feet and no extra equipment is provided. There is also a shared fishing pier with a fish cleaning station.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). I wouldn’t say the place is terrible, but you won’t be too comfortable staying here unless you enjoy being in a semi run down property. I understand the wild life that could be out and about at night but maybe have a screen door should be installed so a possum doesn’t walk up to the front door I also wouldn’t call large roaches wildlife especially indoors. The towels were dirty, light fixtures hanging on for dear life, the tv’s are so outdated the software can’t run Netflix so good thing they have cable, at least it’s near a lot of restaurants, bars, and the beach.

Beautiful location & property

The condo was beautiful and it was very clean. I actually saw a seagull eat a crab out of the backyard! The pool was nice. The lighting in the unit was odd. A lot of switches were reversed and some remotes worked and some didn't. We had to go buy some spray disinfectant to keep the kitchen clean and wish there had been a broom available to sweep the sand up (there was only a small hand broom). All things considered it was a fantastic vacation & our first time using Vrbo. We'll probably plan on bringing simple cleaning supplies & things like foil next time.

Property was ok. We had problems that were not taken care of. Checked on in 12/26. Ice maker didn’t work, front door lock wouldn’t lock, no guest parking tag, fans didn’t work on patio, couple ceiling lights didn’t work. Code for fishing deck incorrect. Left keys in counter as lock box wouldn’t work. Called maintenance about ice maker and door lock issue. Never heard back. But location is great!!

The condo was very clean, close to restaurants and a grocery store. The sunset view from the living room and back porch were amazing. If I come back to the Island this is where I would like to stay again. Thank you for making my long weekend away comfortable.

worst experience

To summarize, my fishing tackle was stolen from the so called secure condo dock, the exterior water never worked so unable to wash equipment, and my brand new boat was totally scratched and damaged due to a very poorly maintained dock. When I notified Vabout this, they said someone would contact us to rectify the problems. nope, no contact and we've already checked out.

Bayby Moon On The Bay

Three mornings of gazing out at the laguna madre were just what we needed to recharge and prepare for our last 2 months of pregnancy! The bed was so comfortable, and the room was nice and dark. The TVs were nice and large, which was great because we love watching movies! We had some issues with the remotes, but nothing that couldn't be overcome. We walked to the beach, but crossing Padre Blvd can be kind of scary during busier times. We walked to some great restaurants nearby. We had a great time cooking, reading, and hanging out with a Blue Heron who frequents the docs out back! The kitchen is great, and the appliances were all in great condition. The intirior was a nice change of pace from usual beach-themed condos. It was tasteful!
