You can’t get closer to the beautiful South Padre sands than a stay at this comfortable, second-floor condo, right on the beach. A convenient, centralized location puts you within walking distance of lots of restaurants, bars, and shops, and onsite amenities including a pool and hot tub may keep you close to home. Start the day with coffee on your Gulf-front balcony, appreciating the sea breeze and watching the sea gulls on the shore. When you get hungry, your well-equipped kitchen offers a full suite of appliances and plenty of counter space for breakfast prep. Pop the dishes in the dishwasher for easy cleanup and head down to the beach. In the evening, enjoy relaxing in the central AC while you stream the latest release, or slip back downstairs to soak in the hot tub before calling it a night on your first perfect beach day, with another to come tomorrow.

This condo is very old and has built-up dirt everywhere and it has not been maintained over time. In addition to the holes in the walls and dirty floors, there are numerous code violations in the unit, such as a ceiling fan that is wired to an outlet. The dishwasher is broken. The kitchen sink does not have a garbage disposal or a drain basket to keep waste from doing down the drain; hence the drain is slow. The headboards for the beds have long bolts sticking out of them that are not attached to the beds, so you can scratch or puncture your leg. The metal railings on the condominium stairs are broken off also, so if you need to hold on to them to make the stair climb, they might not hold you. But the worst is that this is advertised and priced as a "beachfront" property with a balcony overlooking the gulf, but the balcony is falling off the building, so it is not useable. We took pictures of all four joints that are broken and pulling away from the building.

The condo was dirty, it smelled so strongly of pot that we had to go buy candles, ac vents were filthy, tv remote was disgusting. This was suppose to be a very special weekend and this place ruined it. There is no private parking. It’s open and parking passes weren’t left in the condo. We had a cop threaten to tow us.

Vacasa gives inaccurate numbers for entry

We could not het into this property with the codes and numbers given to us by Vacasa. We could not get in and had to wait for-the propertyManager to come to us. The code was totally wrong. Aside from making us wait unti4:00 pm to check in, we waited another hour to get inside. Ridiculous especially since the check out was at 10:00 am. Very stingy since the fees to stay there were very high. This was the first time we stayed in a Vacasa property. The soap was runnout int the bathroom, absolutely no condiments, poorly kept pots and pans- no larger bowls. Bare minimum-of everything!! The only good thing about this property was the propertymanager JD who was kind and tried to make up for the Vacasa fiasco. We will not stay at another Vacasa property. We feel ripped off. Amazing location

This place is amazing just a few things could have been better. One being the photos of the inside are inaccurate, two the full size bed in the living room was a futon, 3 the balcony needs some work the hinges were very lose which was scary, 4 letting people know about the tag needing to be in vehicle should have been in the instructions like everything else was, our vehicle got towed the first night there and last I can't believe someone complained about my children laughing. They were just having fun on vacation.

The unit is clean and comfortable. Easy access to the beach, friendly staff. Security personnel patrolling the property at night. Parking is a bit scarce, but that's okay. We will stay again when we get the chance.

Needs Attention

First of all, we were without internet and WI-FI the day Oracio came to help us. He was great help. We finally got internet. But the TV in the front room did not connect to Spectrum nor any internet connection. The bedroom did after Oracio helped us. The walls need painting. The bathroom cabinets need cleaning big time. The shower & commode were clean The front door frame is very dirty The sliding door did not have any secured lock (We used a stick to lock it!) The microwave needs completely leaning. All in all I would grade your condo as a “C!”

The view and location is its saving grace

My wife and I stayed for a week the listing was accurate but the pictures are misleading. The small dinette had steel metal chairs, very uncomfortable at first I didn’t mind the furnishings as I planned on spending all my time on the beach or in town eating most meals out but I came down with a bug and had to spend three straight days inside not feeling well, this is where the place needs help there is not a piece of furniture that is comfortable to sit on. Both recliners are in disrepair sagging one doesn’t even work. The small sofa is as hard as a rock like I said it wouldn’t bothered me so much, but since I had to spend more time in there than I would’ve planned, it was very uncomfortable. The two beds in the bedroom made it impossible without moving the bed to open the closet door. I think it would be better with one queen size bed, and a pullout sofa, but just an opinion bedroom very nonfunctional there was nothing for the beach no chairs no towels nothing other places we stayed in at least had some lawn chairs to sit in or take to the beach. I was going to try to use the chairs on the balcony and take to the beach but the thought of dragging non-folding chairs through narrow hallways and downstairs was just not an appealing option. The location and the view are beautiful feet from the beach and all the residents and staff were very friendly and the hot tub and pool area are wonderful, but the unit needs an update
