* Our maids are very careful and are wearing masks and gloves (always have) and have Lysol disinfectant that they spray on all handles and high traffic touchpoints. We are paying them extra and taking more precautions during this time.
* We have found that having your own home, private pool, and elevator is the perfect setup during this pandemic. This is a dreamy beach house that is very close to the beach/beach access. It is only 4 houses from the ocean.
* We have 2 rolling carts, rolling coolers, 5 bicycles (servicing and are soon to be back for use), sand toys and pool toys in the 2 car garage. Put your luggage in the private elevator and voila your home!
* There are 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom on the first floor. 1st bedroom has a twin and full bed together- perfect for the kiddos. The twin is a (new 2018) Casper mattress if your curious to try that out. 2nd bedroom has a queen bed (new 2018) and is a Tuft and Needle. Both bedrooms open up to the backyard and private patio.
* Up the stairs or elevator is the 2nd floor with den that has large HD TV, blue ray system, spectrum gold package+latino package (over 200 channels). There is a half bath nearby. Also on the 2nd floor is the large kitchen with center island and bar. The kitchen is equipped with a range, dishwasher, disposal, microwave, fridge/freezer with water/ice dispenser, 2 coffee makers (a Keurig and a metal carafe) and toaster oven. All of the amenities from home are here.
* The entire home also has an added water softener system that makes the South Padre Island water much better to drink and shower with than others. There is a tankless water heater so you never run out of hot water. Also on the 2nd floor is a large dining area, outdoor patio with BBQ grill (4 burners, propane), a laundry room with washer and dryer, sink, ironing board and iron.
* There is also a wine/beverage and office nook that houses the free WiFi, a wireless printer, a beverage and wine fridge. We have plenty of games and puzzles also in this area for family fun.
* On the third floor, we have a large master bedroom and bath. The master bath has a jetted tub, large walk in shower with 2 shower heads (one a waterfall shower head). There are also double vanities and a bidet. There is also a master balcony where you can view the stars and the ocean and beach. The master bedroom has a king size Tempur-pedic mattress and a large flat screen TV. Also upstairs is another master-type bedroom with a king bed, TV and private bathroom.
* This home is located 4 houses down from beach access and is nestled in a quiet neighborhood.
* There is an outdoor shower head for you to rinse off the sand from the beach at the house.
* We have littles ones and understand the pains of forgetting or lugging around some of life’s necessities for kiddos. We have a pack n play available in the master bedroom closet with posturepedic mattress m. We also have a high chair, toilet seat for toddlers, baby monitor, and more outdoor kid toys. We also have baby gates for the stairs.
* There are security door sensors on the downstairs and 2nd floor balcony doors that can be switched to "alarm, off, or chirp" for added protection for the little ones.
* We have named our lovely home The Tranquil Tortuga. In the simplest of terms to live long in the relaxation and the many comforts of home.
