If you are looking for a romantic hideaway or just want an escape from the hustle and bustle, almost complete seclusion is assured at this fabulous barn conversion. Found down a leafy lane, surrounded by lush meadows and grazing animals this property, set in its own spacious lawned gardens, has been lovingly restored to the highest standard and retains an abundance of charm and character. It is perfect for a break, no matter what the season.
A pretty stable door leads into the open-plan living room with solid oak flooring and beautiful feature window overlooking the garden and meadows beyond. Comfy sofas surround a wood burner creating a warm and cosy atmosphere with the pristine kitchen/dining area to one end. An open oak staircase takes you up to the first floor where youâll find a vaulted ceiling and beams. There are two attractive bedrooms with built-in oak wardrobes and a garden outlook. The lovely king -size room has an en-suite shower room and enjoys filtered light through the glazed elevation whilst the pretty twin is a welcoming space to sleep and is served by a separate bathroom with luxury spa bath serves the twin room. Outside there is a beautiful, large lawn encompassing the cottage as well as a patio with seating.
Surrounded by glorious countryside, this is the perfect base for walkers and the beauty of the Exmoor National Park is within a short drive, where you can explore and take a challenging hike! For a change of scenery, the spectacular North Devon coastline is within 26 miles where you can spend a day indulging in some water sports or simply enjoying the sunshine or a stroll along the shoreline at Westward Ho! or Saunton Sands. A great choice of shops, pubs and tearooms can also be found in South Molton, just 5 miles away.
