Enjoy the spacious outdoor seating area in the backyard, complete with string lights, a grill, an outdoor dining table, and a fire pit. The open-concept living room and kitchen are perfect for cooking and entertaining the whole family. Located just 15-20 minutes from Ann Arbor, Brighton, Novi, Northville, Plymouth, and Canton, it's an ideal spot for gatherings or a relaxing getaway!

Our single-story home features four bedrooms and three bathrooms on the main floor, along with a kitchen, living room, and dining room. The primary suite bedroom on the main floor includes its own private en suite bathroom. Off the back of the house, you'll find two sitting areas perfect for relaxation.

Enjoy a seamless check-in experience with keyless digital access. Check-in anytime that fits your schedule, after 3:00 pm. If you’d like an early check-in, shoot us a message the day before your stay. If no other guest is checking out, you’re welcomed to check-in anytime!

Sink into soft, plush memory foam mattresses, hypoallergenic down alternative microfiber comforter, crisp clean linens, and extra blankets for the winter in each of our bedrooms. Stay rested with blackout shades or drapes in each bedroom.

In addition to one king bed and three queen beds, we have a queen size air mattress too if needed! Plenty of extra linens and pillows are available to ensure groups of any size have a comfortable, restful stay.

99% of guests are visiting family, friends, on a work trip, or just exploring town. For anyone who intends to have a party, disturb the neighborhood, or in any other way violate our house rules, we want to make clear that:



We have a zero-tolerance policy for this. We have noise sensors that alert us if decibel levels pass a certain threshold, and we have unfortunately had to ask guests to leave for violating this rule. Being a good neighbor of the city and the block we are on is very important to us.



We have sensors to detect indoor smoking (nicotine and marijuana) and have an automatic $750 fine for violations, and have also had to ask guests to leave early for violating this rule.



Parking

We have a driveway that fits 4-6 cars, with room for 2 additional cars in our garage.



Entry

The house is fully accessible via a YALE smart lock at the front door and on the back door. To access the house, enter the code we provide in your reservation check-in instructions, and press the CHECK to unlock.



When leaving, enter that same code followed by the CHECK mark and the deadbolt will close. The locks will also auto-lock after one minute if you forget to lock.



Extra Sleeping Arrangements

Air Mattress: Designed for camping, our air mattress is extra-sturdy and provides a wonderful sleeping space for two. To inflate, please plug in the pump and wait for it to charge. Once the light on it is solid (not blinking), unplug the pump, insert the end into the air mattress, and flip the switch to inflate.

This house is centrally-located for access to downtown South Lyon as well as lots of areas nearby, including Ann Arbor, Brighton, Novi, Northville, Plymouth, and Canton. The house is also only a forty-five-minute drive to Michigan Avenue and all of Detroit’s best amenities.

House Rules

We love hosting folks, so we want to be as respectful as possible to our wonderful neighbors. Since we’re in a quiet neighborhood, we do ask that you follow a few easy rules:



- No parties & no overnight guests without prior approval. If you’re looking to host a small gathering, that’s probably ok but please let us know.

- Respectful, quiet volume, particularly after 9 pm.

- Please leave your shoes at the door.

- No pets please, as many of the guests we host have allergies.

- No smoking - also, don't discard your cigarettes in house trash cans. They get stinky.

- If you break or damage something, please let us know and arrange for its replacement or repair.

- Do not leave any food out that will attract uninvited pests. Our home is pest-free and we intend to keep it that way with your help.

- When accessing or utilizing the hot tub (sometimes referred to as a "Jacuzzi"), all guests do so at their own risk



Getting Around

While access to public transportation is not easily available from our house, UBER and LYFT run consistently in the area and are quick, cheap, and accessible options to get anywhere in the Plymouth/Northville/Canton/Ann Arbor areas!
