Charming cabin tucked against a peaceful Tahoe hillside and backing to beautiful forest service land, this is the kind of place families picture when they dream about a mountain getaway. Inside, everything feels fresh, warm, and inviting, with a fully remodeled interior, brand-new kitchen and bathrooms, heated floors throughout, air conditioning (a rare treat in Tahoe!), a cozy wood-burning fireplace, and all-new furniture, mattresses, and bedding for total comfort after a day of adventure. Step outside to the spacious front deck for morning coffee in the crisp mountain air or summer BBQâing, then head out back where the granite boulders, forest trails, and open space create a natural playground for hiking, snowshoeing, and snowy family fun right from your doorstep. Bring the family dog too; home is pet-friendly.

We manage several nearby homes, so if youâre planning for a larger group, we can help coordinate multiple properties. Once your reservation is confirmed, youâll receive a rental agreement for signature. The home will be stocked with a starter supply of essentials including soaps, paper products, and one set of linens and towels. For longer stays, guests may wish to bring or purchase additional supplies and use the in-home laundry. During winter months, a 4x4 or AWD vehicle is recommended due to mountain roads and winter conditions, always carry chains. Snowstorms and icy terrain can make access difficult without proper traction.
Note: The owner has a fully separate one-bedroom apartment below the home with its own private entrance. It is not normally occupied and will not affect your stay, though the owner may occasionally need to access the apartment.
To ensure a smooth and compliant stay, please review all local rules included in your agreement. Both the City of South Lake Tahoe and El Dorado County actively enforce vacation rental regulations.
Key ordinances include:
âą Occupancy and vehicle limits must never be exceeded
âą Street parking is prohibited
âą Hot tubs and outdoor areas may not be used after 10 p.m.
âą Trash must be secured in bear-proof containers, do not leave food in your car! (pickup Monday; instructions provided)

You will be responsible for extra cleaning charges for hair on furniture, pet stains, dog droppings, & any damage caused by dog(s).
