## Space

Amazing Location!

Literally 1.5 blocks from Highway 50 and Stateline and only a 6-minute walk to Heavenly Village & Gondola, casinos, and restaurants. This is a private studio as part of a boutique 11-unit self-serve accommodation. Completely renovated in 2020, this is one of our most unique units with a separate bedroom and a living area that features a kitchenette (induction double cooktop available upon request) w/ Keurig machine as well as a work desk. The bedroom has 2 queen beds and an en-suite bath with a walk-in shower. Equipped with a smart TV and on-demand streaming services (occupant needs to have subscription service/no cable). All TVs and wifi are connected to Gigabit cable connectivity.

*NO PARTIES: We have a strict 'No Party' policy-parties or events are not allowed. Quiet hours are enforced from 10 pm to 8 am.*

*PETS: ONLY 1 PET ALLOWED (N/A to service animals, applicable to ESA's). A pet fee will apply; pets can not be left unattended in your room. Please add your pet to the reservation, or disclose your pet to our hospitality team after booking.


## Access

The unit is accessed off of Poplar St. and has direct access from the parking area and has one assigned parking spot, space #5. This unit is completely private with its own locked entry. The doors are all equipped with smart locks. The unique access code will be generated and sent to you by SMS on the morning of your arrival, to the phone number on file.

Interaction

This is a self-serve stay. We are off-site hosts; there is no front desk or office, and we provide contactless self-check-in. We have a dedicated hospitality phone line in case of emergencies (24/7) and our team is available on call, text, or chat during 5 am - 1 am to help assist you during your stay!

Electric car charging (shared amenity)

South Lake Chalet offers 5 EV chargers for our registered guests’ use only. Please scan the QR code posted above chargers to follow payment instructions. Spots for unit 1 have access to one Tesla (white), and one J1772 (black) charger. Unit spots 2,3 and 4 share one white Tesla charger. Spots 7, 8, and 9 share one J1772 black charger. Unit spots 10, 11 and the ADA spot (please park with a valid placard only, to avoid being towed by the City) share one Tesla charger. Please do not leave your vehicle plugged in when not charging to allow other guests to have charging access. Should you require access to another charger type, please reach out to our hospitality team to coordinate access with other guests.

Beach Access Vouchers

All South Lake Chalet guests will receive a Lakeside Beach voucher for discounted, $5 per person beach access, valued at $30 per person, upon arrival. Beach wristbands purchased will also provide a 50% discount on beach chair and sun umbrella rentals from the Lakeside Beach Association. The beach is open between Memorial Day and closes mid-September, depending on the weather. Vouchers are not needed or provided during beach closure months.

Located within a 5-minute walk to the world-renowned Heavenly Village and Gondola, Gordon Ramsey Hell's Kitchen, casinos, and only a 10-minute walk to Lakeside Beach (private, access fee required). This location is ideal for those working remotely (with Gigabit internet connectivity) while enjoying everything South Lake Tahoe has to offer.

Transit

The Stateline Transit Center and Heavenly Gondola are only 4 blocks away.

This was a very nice place to stay. Everything was very clean. Checking in and out was super easy. A lot of stuff is within walking distance, there’s also a nice dog friendly dog beach about 3 miles away. I definitely plan on staying here next time I come back.

We had a beautiful 8 night stay at South Lake Chalet. With the grill available it made breakfast and lunch enjoyable with an outdoor experience in the comfort of the downtown region. We brought pop up chairs and took in the mornings in the scenic courtyard by the water fall. Gorgeous experience. We would stay here again!

My family and I stayed for the 4th of July weekend/week and this was a beautifully and clean place, centrally located, very comfortable! We could walk to dozens of restaurants and other amenities. Perfect Girlfriends Getaway

My girlfriends and I came together here for a milestone birthday celebration and couldn't have been happier. The location was perfect! We walked everywhere; to the spa @ The Landing, to our shows, the casinos, restaurants, the Lake... everything was walkable. We even took a lake tour, which picked us up by shuttle at Harvey's, which was a 3 minute walk. It's a perfect location and room was perfect. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

Stayed one night was a very good deal. Only suggestion I would make is to have a phone charger outlet, no cable just where to plug it, in I know they sell lamps with them (Home Goods etc) it just would be so convenient!

Excellent Location & Modern Comfy Bed

My family of 3 stayed here for a ski trip to Heavenly- walking distance to the Gondola! This is the 2nd time we have stayed at The South Lake Chalet and really enjoyed it as a jumping off point for lots of activities: putt putt, magic show, sledding... The rooms hit all of the marks: very comfortable beds, sheets & pillow, temperature control including a fireplace, solid shower pressure & temperature and a nice kitchenette set up. It is a great value and customer service was amazing. We needed a little help with the lock and they were immediately available via phone to troubleshoot. 10 out 10, I recommend to everyone and can't wait to plan another visit.

Excellent Stay for Skiing

We really enjoyed our stay. It was exactly as advertised. Easy check-in and plenty of communication. Dishes and cutlery for our party of four were clean and in good condition. Efficient use of space and we appreciated the Keurig cups! I was delighted there was a kettle for making my tea. I appreciated there was no surprise list of chores to complete when we checked out. Plenty of towels and the shampoo/conditioner/soap in the shower were very much appreciated! This Chalet is approximately 7 minutes drive to Heavenly California Lodge ski lifts and is even closer to Heavenly Village. When we go back to Tahoe to ski, we will definitely stay here.
