Tucked away in a quiet alpine neighborhood, this 2-story getaway is perfect for mountain fun. This hidden gem is located in the Angora Ridge area, situated near a meadow with a seasonal creek. Dog friendly.

This home cannot host more than 6 people over the age of 5. This applies 24/7.

The great room features an open-concept design with vaulted ceilings, cozy seating, and a large gas fireplace. Gather the group around the 75" HDTV with streaming options for movie night, or lay back on the built-in sleeper couch and roast your toes by the fireside. The kitchen features dual ovens, a microwave, fridge/freezer, gas range/oven, and more — plus plenty of counter space for helping hands.

Once it's time for bed you'll have multiple bedrooms to choose from. The upstairs bedroom doubles as a second entertainment room with a king bed, a large sectional, and a 75" HDTV. It has an ensuite bathroom with a jacuzzi tub and walk-in shower, plus a walk-in closet and plenty of storage space. Downstairs, one bedroom features a queen bed and a small closet. The other bedroom has 2 sets of twin-over-twin bunks — perfect for the kids. These two bedrooms share a bathroom with a walk-in shower and a single sink.

This home does not have air conditioning.

Pets: 1-2 dogs allowed w/ pre-approval, additional fee required. No other animals allowed. Bring a crate if you plan to leave a dog unattended. Dogs are not allowed on furniture or in/on beds. Any barking or behavior that bothers neighbors is not allowed. You will be responsible for extra cleaning charges for hair on furniture, pet stains, dog droppings, & any damage caused by dog(s).

We enjoyed our stay thoroughly. The house is beautifully decorated and arranged. Initially we booked for only 2 days and extended it another night as we were so comfortable in the house - we decided to have a relaxed day after ski- adventures. We highly recommend this property for short-term stay or even staycation. We look forward to revisiting it in summer.

Perfect spot for a family getaway

We had a wonderful time! The cabin was exactly as described and had everything we needed for a trip to the mountains. We had 4 adults and 2 babies, and the kids had a great time playing in the snow and running around the huge open space in the upstairs loft. We’ll definitely stay again!

Great spot for our vacation

My family of four really enjoyed our 11 nights at this property. Plenty of space, the quiet neighborhood, strategic location where we didn't have to go into South Lake Tahoe regularly yet could easily acccess the beaches, ample hiking in the area, and a grocery store were all fantastic. And the kitchen had everything we needed. Glad we chose this one!

Nice home for family vacation. We're a family of 5 with 3 teenagers, living room was small for all of us. Kitchen was well stocked with pots/pans/utensils and even dog supplies. Great communication with the host, quick response to any issues. Thanks for having us.

Wonderful, spacious house with a gracious host

We stayed in March as a ski vacation. The house is in a quiet neighborhood with good access to the major roads. The house is spacious and well-stocked with cooking equipment, games and multiple TVs. The host was very helpful and responsive when we had a question.

Amazing location and house

We loved the neighborhood and it was a great house for our family. Quiet, friendly neighborhood in a beautiful spot. The house was well appointed and had everything we needed. Check-in and check-out was a breeze. Couldn't have asked for more!

Tahoe Homey Vibe

This house made us feel at home during our week stay with our 3 kids. The rental company was professional and accessible as needed. It had the basic essentials that we needed for home cooked meals. Lots of games in the loft space and the outdoor access felt safe for the kids to play freely and to explore. Easy trail access and close to town for grocery shopping.

Bear Cave Extravaganza!!

Our stay was perfect from beginning to end, we have never stayed at a better property, clean and with everything you could possibly need in the kitchen and rooms. Only thing missing was an outdoor patio set (needs chairs for the table) and we made do with our own chairs. It was an amazing vacation and effortless from beginning to end-we will book again!

Close to Camp Richardson

This place was perfect for us! The kitchen has everything you need to cook. The house is even bigger than we thought. So much room for one couple and three singles to share for 5 days. Mornings and evenings with the awesome breezes were a welcome change to July in Mississippi! We didn’t catch the detail of no A/C but all the fans were perfect for keeping us cool especially when you follow the owner’s suggestions for optimizing the cool night air for the following day. I would stay here repeatedly! So easy to find. Thanks for the great communication. We all had an awesome South Lake Tahoe time.

Great location and amenities

We really enjoyed this house. The location is perfect. On a quiet street with the conservancy as a backyard and short walk to a State park. Also easy access to markets, restaurants and S. Lake Tahoe activities. Loved that the house is generously stocked with home comforts in every room. The kitchen has eveything one could want and there is a washer and dryer in a separate space. There are huge tv's in every room. Everthing was clean and spotless and full of supplies. Only issue is that it does get very warm (we were there in July) and there is no air conditioning. At night even with all windows open and fans going, the master suite was hot until 2am. But we'd love to return. The pictures are accurate and the house is fantastic!

There was a cleaning issue that had dog hair in one of the downstair bedroom from the previous stay, because we did not have a dog and in the other downstair bedroom the shelving unit was broken upon inspection, but RNR was quick to respond and assist. Just make sure to take photos and inspect the house upon arrival. RNR was really great with communication and assist in any way possible. The option of having someone come out to fix the issue was given from RNR, but we declined and just wanted to relax because it was during Christmas Holiday. I would definitely book again hoping for more snow next time.
