Just 10 minutes from downtown South Haven, this beautiful family home features a private beach, hot tub, gazebo, wildflower garden, screened-in outdoor dining patio, gourmet chef's kitchen, and high-end finishes throughout the grounds. Enjoy the spacious backyard with incredible views of Lake Michigan at sunset while being steps from the sandy shores.

The Lakefront A-Frame Estate is the ideal setting and space to experience all the Michigan lakeshore has to offer. Every room is filled with spectacular vistas and the soothing sounds of the shore. Whether you prefer to lounge indoors or outdoors, this home has something for everyone in your group to enjoy.



Perfect Location, Near Downtown South Haven:

• Situated at the very end of a quiet street, this wonderfully peaceful retreat is secluded and private while still only 10 minutes from downtown South Haven and all it has to offer (local restaurants, ice cream parlors, cafés, shops, parks, activities, and more). Take a step back in time in this historic town, with picturesque harbor views and boats coming and going from Lake Michigan.

• Step outside and you’ll be greeted by a wooded paradise. Take a bike ride or stroll along the famous Kal-Haven Trail. Connecting Kalamazoo and South Haven, this 35-mile trail is often considered one of the best in Michigan thanks to its smooth terrain and scenic views. If you’re seeking more adventure, rent an ATV nearby and hit the trails, or head out on the water for a memorable sunset sailing experience.

Our property is located in the charming town of South Haven. We'll share our top local rec's (they change seasonally!) and a guidebook about the peaceful neighborhood and its many activities ahead of check-in.

This home is situated on a bluff overlooking Lake Michigan. There is a 3 ft fence to help keep friends and children safe. Stairs are accessible to the beach seasonally from Memorial Day Weekend to October.

Wonderful Stay

Hidden Haven was a wonderful place to stay! It provided a great location to stay before we moved into our new home and was big enough to welcome our grandchildren for the Thanksgiving weekend. Loved the amount of bathrooms and bedrooms. Great for a family gathering. Views and sunsets were incredible and it's location made it easy to get to South Haven or Saugatuck.

Northern Lights Extravaganza

If you like sunsets.....this is the house for you! And we just happened to be there on a night the northern lights were giving a show too! The house is far enough from South Haven to where you can relax, but a 10 minute drive to anywhere in SH.

Nice place for family to stay on the lake

Have a very nice weekend, WiFi is terrible and direct tv would not work and was told me needed a new box and it would be two days. We survived fine but wouldn’t want that to be the case for a week.

Good for the Soul!

Breathtaking from the minute you walk in. The views from the property are amazing and the house and layout is stunning. The house was immaculate when we arrived and every room was appointed with everything you need. Everyone enjoyed being there so much that we canceled our dinner reservations at night and just all cooked together. The ever-changing skies were mezmerizing at sunset! We had a "Live, Love and Laugh" Thanksgiving week with our family. We will definitely be back. How could you not!

Perfect Getaway Home!

We arrived and were pleasantly surprised with everything…especially the magnificent views of Lake Michigan! We had enough room for our son and his family with 3 little girls. The playground and the toys in the garage were perfect for when we needed a break from the beach! Our daughters and their husbands had their own rooms, as well. The layout, the set up and the upgrades were great and really appreciated! We couldn’t get the t.v. to work, but we decided to not let it bother us and were ok with it! We had a Wonderful family vacation! We learned upon our return home when I posted a few photos on fb, that friends of ours rented it for years! Such a crazy coincidence! And we have recommended it to all of our friends!

What a view!

What a retreat to relax and unwind. Beautiful home to enjoy, gorgeous sunset views from the house and yard, and amazing sounds of Lake Michigan waves. I splurged in desperation for a family and friend getaway and it was totally worth it. Kids had an adjustment to the low bars on WiFi (it still worked fine and we were all connected) and I was in heaven for an excuse to disconnect. Kids dressed up and put on a play with the silly hats there, and there’s a game/puzzle closet that could have entertained for hours. We cooked a seafood feast and they had everything in the kitchen necessary, along with grill. With the nice weather we sat outside and played yard games we brought, cooked s’mores, and enjoyed the private peace and quiet. Pet friendly too, which I greatly appreciate - there was a fenced in section of yard. Overall excellent and can’t wait to go back!

Hidden Haven Gem

We rented this beautiful home to celebrate the new years weekend with our family. The home was as depicted. Clean, fully stocked as far as kitchen items (we did not expect any food products available unless requested). We arrived 10 minutes early and couldn't access the home without a call, which got us into the house (understandable, I guess). Our only complaint was that at least one of the king bedrooms was lacking heat. The upstairs kind bedroom above the garage was freezing.....no heat registers....which could also be a problem when it gets hot in the summer. I called to request help or a space heater. A space heater was delivered that night, which was appreciated but minimally helped with the situation. The first floor master bedroom also had a heating issue, as the kind bed covered the only heat register in the large room----cold, but not as cold as the over garage bedroom. Overall, the place was wonderful and the service communication was excellent and helpful. The beds were very comfortable and plenty of nice towels. For the high price we paid for the weekend, we should have been made aware of these issues prior to occupancy. Also, minimal cell/wifi access due to location, which was identified in the listing. We increased our access through our phone/internet company for the weekend to assist with this. We give this property 5 stars for overall home beauty and comfort.
