Beautiful new home, private heated pool, close to beach

Everything in the house is brand new. Our home boasts 6 bedrooms and 4 full baths. The backyard has a beautiful patio overlooking the private in-ground heated pool. It's a short 10 minute walk to downtown and 15 minute walk to the beautiful beach. The main floor consist of a beautiful Kitchen with white cabinets and granite countertops and open to dinning area and living room. Main floor also has a bedroom with queen size bed and a full bath across the hall. The main floor is wonderful, large windows overlooking the patio and the wonderful private heated pool. Upstairs we have a beautiful master suite with king size bed and private bath and large walk-in closet. The other 3 bedrooms make up the upper floor with one king bed and two queens beds. Also you will find a large bathroom with double sinks and a laundry room. The basement has a large bedroom with king bed and huge closet. The basement is a great space for the kids to hang out, offering a TV area with large smart TV and ping pong table. The outdoor patio is great with plenty of seating, fire pit and gas grill. The heated pool is great to relax and hang out with the family after a long day at the beach.

The house was comfortable for all of us. There was enough space that no one felt cramped when we were together or when we retreated to our rooms. The pool was so convenient and well maintained, everyone enjoyed it! If we were in the area, we would stay here again!

Beautiful home with plenty of room and a nice pool

We had a great stay! Plenty of space, easy check in, and excellent communication from the owner, Bob. He went above and beyond to make sure we were happy! The kitchen was stocked with a coffee maker, crockpot, blender, toaster, dishwasher, microwave, & stove. Paper towels, trash bags, dish soap, & dishwasher detergent were all provided which was great! We did find the number of place settings for dishes/utensils to be too few, as we often had to run the dishwasher between each meal in order to have enough, but that wasn't a huge deal as we dined out a fair amount.The bedrooms were nice with plenty of storage and closet space. I saw another review that mentioned that the beds were too firm, but I thought they were perfect. Also agree with another reviewer that bedside lamps would be nice, though not a huge deal. We did notice that one of the upstairs bedrooms locks from the outside instead of the inside -- not a big deal until my young niece locked her mom inside! LolThe pool was amazing, as it was quite hot this week! Plenty of seating around the pool, and nice patio furniture for hanging out as well. We utilized the gas grill several times, and enjoyed s'mores around the fire pit using provided firewood. I gave the location/neighborhood 4/5 stars bc it is pretty close to a busy street/intersection, so the traffic was a bit loud for the bedrooms facing the street. Overall we had a fantastic week and would definitely recommend this property!!

House was beautiful. Host gave us lots of paper products, dishwasher soap laundry detergent. Most houses we rented didn’t have that. Everyone enjoyed the pool. Home was close to everything. Loved the area.

Family vacation

We stayed Bob’s place for our annual family vacation and had a blast. We had multiple generations and there was something for everyone. Pool was a godsend with the heat and the home was comfortable, clean, and spacious. 10 minute walk to downtown, and close to golf courses, breweries, and Arvesta Farms (a must for families). The location and amenities were amazing, I’d definitely recommend this home for a family or large group!

My family and I had an amazing time at this property! The house was beautiful, clean, and had plenty of room for everyone to congregate together or spread out and do their own thing. The heated pool and outdoor space was perfect and there was plenty to do within walking distance as well. The host was great to deal with and we are already looking for a time when we can all stay again.

Family getaway

The house was terrific! We had 10 adults - and spacious enough for everyone to spread out - whether inside or enjoying the backyard space. The walk to downtown was very easy and we also found Uber to be active too. Would highly tecommend this place to stay!

Lovely 6 bedroom home with large back patio and swimming pool. Just two suggestions
instead of just overhead lights, several lamps in each bedroom would be a nice touch and the cable package appeared to be missing ESPN

Extra Spacious, Clean and Comfortable

This beautiful new home was perfect for our annual family gathering. There were 10 of us, ranging for seniors to young kids and we had more than enough space to all relax! The pantry alone was amazing, room to get all of our food out of the way so we had plenty of room to graze and cook in the spacious kitchen! The heated pool was fantastic. It was a very comfortable temperature and the kids enjoyed it all weekend, even when the outdoor temps dipped a bit. We appreciated the grill, fire pit, ping pong table, giant dining table and all slept very comfortably. Just a short 10-15 minute walk to town or beach and a quick drive for groceries at Meijers or Walmart or anywhere you want to be in town. Highly recommend and will stay here again.

Loved the house. This is our third year renting a home with our family. The house is perfect. The only negative is there wasn’t any amenities. We needed to bring beach towels, pool toys - wasn’t geared towards kids. The description said there were kids dishes- none. Other homes we rented had bikes, beach chairs. There wasn’t even any Kleenex. So if you do t mind bringing everything then I would say the house is perfect!

Love South Haven

Overall the house and property were great! My only suggestion is to provide beach equipment; umbrellas and chairs. We really didn't realize that the lake beach was like the beach on the ocean. Everything was great! We BBQed alot and had a fire pit every evening. Thanks for being such a great host! Hope to see you next year! Patti :)

Place was perfect Clean and close to beach for kids I would have liked a second fridge in the garage since once we had 9 people 1 for waters and juice would have been nice. Kitchen was workable, me being a chef I’m critical grill was nice would have liked bigger when I was grilling. Again I’m critical Perfect size house and great upkeep.

Great house!

Just back from a week stay at the house. The pool was an absolute lifesaver given the hat wave we had
it’s a great size with lots of seating. We did bring our own pool toys which was a good idea. The house is wonderful, clean and very functional. Loved how close to town it was
we rented LSV’s (low speed vehicles..basically fancy golf carts) which we drove into town and to the beach. We had a great stay and I would absolutely recommend it. My only minor critique is the mattresses were super firm, which is not something we are used to, but it would not stop us from renting it again if we go back to South Haven!!
