Ocean Front Duplex with Views! Dog Friendly! Free Wifi!

Let the surf lure you to Surfside Cottage North, a cozy 2 bedroom, 1 bath ocean front duplex perched on a bluff overlooking the beautiful Pacific! With ocean views from the living room and the deck you will be sure to enjoy the sights, the sounds, and the fresh, salty smell of the sea.

With the open concept living/dining/kitchen, you will be able to relax after a fun filled day. Slide open the door to the deck and enjoy the outdoors, the view, and the surfside swells during those long summer days. Even the winter storms can be fun to watch as they blow in from the sea, steered by the jet stream, they flow like a meandering river of air. Watch for whales, birds, seals, and sea lions while grilling up your favorite catch of the day. One bedroom has comfy queen bed and one a full bed. They both share a bath in the hall. This is a duplex so if you need more room for family and friends, reserve Surfside Cottage South. While this is ocean front with wonderful views, the beach access is a short drive either north or south of the home.

Surfside Cottage North is the perfect jumping off point to any part of the Central Oregon Coast you plan to enjoy. Bring your kayaks and standup paddleboards because this home is a short 2-minute drive south to Brian Booth State Park and the gorgeous Beaver Creek area, popular for paddle sports and wildlife viewing. You are just a short drive to Newport where you can visit the Oregon Coast Aquarium, Yaquina Head Lighthouse, or walk along a working bayfront and enjoy fresh seafood either cooked to perfection onsite or bought off a boat for you to prepare at home.

Sleeps up to 4 - 2 Bedrooms, 1 Queen bed, 1 Full bed, 1 full bath.
Vehicles: Licensed for 2 (Strictly enforced)
Standard: 2 night minimum; Summer & Holidays: 3-4 night minimum.

Age Requirement: The primary registered guest must be at least 26 years of age. The majority of guests must be over 25, or children under adult supervision.

This home does not allow cat guests or other non-human, non-canine visitors. Dogs are welcome at this home but must be registered in advance and paid prior to arrival. This home has a 2-dog maximum occupancy! Pet Guests: One time $35+tax fee per dog. Pet fees are not included in the original reservation.

Excellent ocean view and dog friendly! Comfortable cozy cottage with just the right space for two of us and our puppy. Deck and yard made it easy for our new puppy (& us) to enjoy the outdoors.We appreciated being notified that the house was ready early which made the 5:00 check-in time less a negative for this property.Could definitely use more lighting. We had to continuously move lamps around the living and dining areas depending on our activity. The kitchen lighting was mostly provided by the light above the stove. But we still ENJOYED our stay in the cottage!

The cottage had a wonderful view, a usable basic kitchen, and a small yard. It was accessible for my elderly mom, with only one step up to enter. It was very quiet, clean, and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again. Perfect for 3 people and a dog.Suggestions for improvement: better lighting and a new shower controller. Also, the gap in the hedge on the ocean side may put children or dogs at risk of going over the cliff.

Ocean trip 2025

The communication with the host was great when we had questions they got back to us pretty quickly. The only part of check in that sucked was that the code we were given didn’t work and we had to wait over an hour to be able to get in the house.The view was beautiful, loved being able to wake up to the sunrise and sunset. There wasn’t a way down to the beach from the house. The other thing that was a pain in the butt was that all the outlets in the house are very loss and the charger port aren’t able to stay in well and when they do it is hanging down and not safe. This was almost every outlet. We did have a problem with the toilet it didn’t want to flush I messaged the host and with in a few hours they had gotten back to me and they came the next day to fix it. Over all great house and communication with the host.

Relaxing stay at the beach

We were not impressed when we first arrived, parking was very narrow and awkward to get into. We struggled with passcode, but they did give us another one that did work. The inside of home was clean and comfortable. And we did have a very nice view of the ocean. So the rest of the stay was relaxing.

It was ok...

The house is really small and the parking assignment is not convenient if you drive a truck. They will be sure to call you and let you know where you cant park but are unknowledgable about where you can park. For the amount that was paid for 2 nights, i was not impressed and I will not be staying again.

The usual

I tend to look for lesser expensive places to stay. The pictures look great but the reality isn't quite as great. This place is older and needs a lot of love. I had to sleep in the second bedroom because the bed in the master bedroom was too high. The second bedroom smelled like a mixture of sewage and seawater. I say that because I smelled it on a beach one time when there was a sewage leak.

Lovely property

My sister, my dog, and I stayed for 3 nights and had a wonderful time. We were very impressed by the cleanliness and timely response via text when we had a question. Fabulous view! Short jaunt in car to beach access was no problem at all. As others have said, the only downside to this property is the parking space that requires much work to get even a very compact SUV situated. Everything else was fantastic!

Great little place

Was centrally located, driveway was tricky first couple of times. The view was amazing and perfect. House was clean, plenty of towels which I was worried about. The main negative thing was the bed in left bedroom Was the worst mattress Ive ever slept on.It sunk so badly, pleaaassee for the sake of future guests replace it! I ended up sleeping on loveseat a couple times because my back and hips hurt so bad.Second thing was there was no lights in the kitchen, it needs a couple under cabinet lights, so you can see at night to do dishes. The deck was great, ocean drowned out all road noise. You can see a ton of beach and whales. Its a great little place for a few people, minus the bed.

Outstanding View, Comfortable home

This is a beautiful area of the Oregon Coast and the home was a comfortable place to relax. The photos are accurate, the furniture and beds were very comfortable. I did do a little extra cleaning in the kitchen - burner trays and grill needed a little work, but overall it was a well-kept cottage, and the view could not be beat!

Decent Beach getaway

The beds were too soft and it was obviously not cleaned as good as it could have been. I would not stay here a second time. Convenient location. Ocean views were pretty great. I feel like that would have been the case in any of the coast line properties though. This place had dated fixtures holes in walls overall kinda run down looking. I did appreciate the appliances and cookware.

Cute little duplex. Ideal for young family however a little more difficult for us Senior Citizens. The furniture was uncomfortable for an 86 year old and a 68 year old. The add depicted exactly what they were offering so it is entirely my fault... The view is the best!!!
