Construit en 2004, La Puntilla de Rosa a été le premier, en bord de mer Appartement de style victorien, construit sur la cÎte nord. Le concept ouvert, en se concentrant sur la vue imprenable sur l'océan, fait pour une combinaison gagnante. Finitions luxueuses naturelles accentue la conception et en harmonie avec les environs.
Ce complexe tropical est le quartier résidentiel avec la plupart des espaces verts sur la cÎte nord de notre ßle. La densité de construction est trÚs faible. Protection de l'équilibre écologique, plus de 20 espÚces d'oiseaux, parmi lesquels des perroquets et colibris, sont à la maison ici. Cet appartement a vues dégagées sur l'océan, vue sur la montagne et de belles palmeraies. Une entrée fermée à la zone résidentielle garantit une intimité totale.

Great location

Overall this place was stunning. The balcony looks over a cliff and there is a pool. Playa Alicia is within view as are the numerous boats coming in and out of Sosua port / bay. Some of the boats can be quite loud and there are often fireworks at night on Alicia. sosua beach is a bit closer but busier and more hectic . Playa alicia is abt a 5/10 minute walk. The apartment itself could use a little love. Overall it’s nice but there are a number of appliances that don’t work. The dishwasher didn’t work as well as the air conditioner in the living room. The master bathroom water wasn’t very hot and the bathtub leaked. Overall would recommend this place but it could use a little love.

Absolutely fantastic property!!!

My husband and I stayed here with our two children. The property exceeded our expectations. The property manager is very easy to communicate with. The apartment is very spacious, clean and upgraded. The pool area is amazing and the view is breathtaking. I absolutely give this place 5 stars. Thanks for an excellent time!

Hidden gem

This was my first visit to this part of the Dominican Republic and staying in El-Batey. Everything was so nice that there was no need for me to contact Yojaira the security guards provided me with any information and translations I needed. If your looking for a beyond nice place to stay which is safe, clean, peaceful and a prime location I highly recommend you look no further. I really want to keep this location to myself but that wouldn’t be fair to the host one thing is certain I will be back sooner than later and pray this condo is available.

Incredible view and location

Wonderful 2week stay at La Rosa Puntilla! Location could not be better. Incredible views, between 2 great beaches ( one for lots of activities, one for a quieter experience). Walking distance to everything including a supermarket, restaurants, beaches and banks. We had a car for daily adventures like the monkey jungle ( highly recommend) , Wilson’s Restaurant, The Seahorse Restaurant. The condo itself was a great setup for us. Could use some maintenance as we had issues with the shower heads ( hubby fixed one of them ) and the tub had a huge crack in it. I pointed these out so hopefully they’ll fix them up. All in all great value for such an incredible location!! We will be going back for sure!!!

nice property

My stay was nice. Had some problems with Air Condition it took 2 days to fix it. Couple of things that could inprove. Shower head in master bath needs repair. It's not mounted on the bracket. 2nd bath needs new shower head. Last thing I was Very Disappointed that I had to pay a Energy Deposit. The Advertisement doesn't indicate anything about that.

Fantastic experience

We enjoyed our time at the condo. The location is great, close to the grocery store, shops and restaurants. The property manager took good care of us and the property. She was very helpful with local advice and direction. She was very quick to respond with any issues that we had. We would definitely stay there again!

Even better than what you expect

First of all, Yojaira is an excellent amazing manager. Any little issue I had, she would fix it that same day or send someone to. She was so welcoming, made me feel very safe (solo woman traveler) and made sure I could count on her. She is the sweetest. The appartment has everything you are looking for. But the most majestic thing about it is the view. Waking up everyday to that view and being in this safe place made me never wanting to leave. I felt so much like home that I am already looking at my next time going to Sosua. And for sure, I will call Yojaira to book with her. I have been to Sosua for 10+ years, many times a year. I have rented all over the city and bit further but no experience compares to this one I just lived. Thank you Yojaira for being part of my journey.

Excelente!!! La comunicaciĂłn con Yojaira fue muy buena de principio a fin. El apartamento es mucho mĂĄs que lo que muestran las fotos!!! Es un lugar tranquilo y muy familiar, el personal que trabaja muy amable y respetuoso... Es tanto lo que me gustarĂ­a decir sobre mi experiencia, la vista es increĂ­blemente maravillosa, el amanecer y anochecer es una experiencia inolvidable... La ubicaciĂłn es muy buena todo cerca y seguro... La limpieza del apartamento muy buena, cocina muy bien equipada con lo que puedas necesitar, sin duda alguna repetirĂ­a una y otra vez volver a este maravilloso lugar!!! Sosua Hidden Gem

Absolutely perfect for travelers who don’t want the resort scene. Safe condos tucked off the beaten path close to Playa Alicia and Playa Sosua. Discovered excellent snorkeling off beach at Playa Sosua and huge waves at Playa Alicia. Great to have full kitchen for hosting lunch with traveling companions. Walked to town for dinner at different restaurant each night. Owners easy to communicate with before and during the trip. No surprises, very clean, can’t wait to go back!!

Perfect spot!

The location of this condo is perfect - on a quiet street with a 10 minute walk to beaches, restaurants and markets. The view is amazing and the grounds are well kept. The kitchen was fully stocked with dishes, pots, pans, coffee maker and kettle and there were lots of towels for use. Having the use of the washer and dryer came in handy as well. Yojaira and her son Connor met us on arrival and they were very accommodating, allowing us to stay a couple of hours beyond checkout because our flight was later in the afternoon. We spent a week in this beautiful condo and enjoyed it immensely - we will definitely go back!

Buena Vista

Large two bedroom with security and parking steps from front door. It is right turn before hotel at end of street. No stairs to entry. Walking distance to everything you need. Very peaceful rear yard. The pool was well maintained and water temperature is comfortable because it is shallow. The view is better than the pictures and the condo will probably be larger than you expect.

Best View Ever

Thomas and Yojaira are the best people to work with. They arranged airport transportation and let us check in early. Every time we had any issue they were quick to resolve it. They even got an air conditioner repair man for us on the weekend when the unit went out in the 2nd bedroom. The unit was lovely but the furniture could be a bit more "butt" friendly. It's outdoor wicker furniture with cushions so it wasn't super comfy. The kitchen was pretty well equipped but could use some bowls to store things in. We cooked in some and could have used something for leftovers. The beds were a little firm for my liking but not unbearable. I enjoyed getting up early in the morning and just sitting on the patio watching the birds and looking out over the ocean. It's so beautiful and peaceful there. Groceries and beaches were a short and enjoyable 5 minute walk. We always felt very safe there. This was a much better trip than when we stayed at an A/I in punta cana. If anyone tried to sell you a snorkeling adventure to Paradise Island, be aware that you are going to spend 3 hours one way-on a nice bus. The island is fun and the snorkel ing is fantastic but we were told it was an hour drive-You've been warned! Go Horseback riding at Rancho El Contento. They have great horses and we even ran them on the beach. The owner nurses rescue horses back to health. Ute is so sweet. When we come back to DR, we would definitely love to stay at this property again.

Very good vacation at Sosua

I really enjoyed my stay at La Puntilla de Rosa. The place was very comfortable and had an amazing view. Walking distance to pretty much everthing. Thomas is a very responsive and accomodating host!. I would recommend this property if staying in Sosua.

Excellent stay, start to finish

From the moment I started planning our Sosua trip, I knew I was going to book with Thomas and Yojaira. Their quick replies to my questions made me feel confident. That, along with the photos, made my decision an easy one. Even throughout the stay, when I had minor questions, Thomas replied within minutes. They sent their driver to the airport to pick us up, for the same price as a taxi. Fast service! Yojaira met us at the condo and we were blown away when we walked in. The photos do not do the place justice. It is way bigger, fresher, cleaner than I anticipated. The huge patio and french doors from bedroom offered the most amazing views. Kitchen was fully stocked, full size appliances, although we chose to eat every meal out as the main downtown area was maybe 5/10 min walk and offers tons of options. The beaches, Alicia and Sosua, were equidistant (7 mins). They offer the option of paying for maid service, but since the place was so clean when we checked in, we didn't feel the need. When it came time to check out, Yojaira met us promptly at our arranged time, did a quick figuring out of electricity use and gave us the refund from our electricity deposit in US dollars. I had asked for their driver to take us back to the aiport, but Yojaira drove us herself. We travel a lot, and this was one of the best experiences we have encountered. Looking forward to next time!
