☆☆ BEDROOMS ☆☆
This modern apartment features comfortable accommodations for up to four people. The main bedroom has a King size bed and can be accessed without climbing any stairs. This room has a private entrance, a corner dresser, and in-room air conditioning. You will fall fast asleep on the soft mattress.

The second bedroom offers the option of a King bed or two separate twin beds. Upon request, the two twins can be pushed together to create a King. This bedroom is welcoming with large windows that allow in plenty of natural light.

We have a sofa sleeper in the living room, always useful if you have extra guests..

After a day of exploring the local area, you’ll be thankful to come home and unwind in the recently upgraded bathroom. It’s designed for comfort and convenience with modern finishes and a sleek design. There is a walk-in shower with rain shower features behind a glass wall, a toilet, double sinks, and plenty of storage.

☆☆ KITCHEN & LOUNGE ☆☆
The main living room is bright and open and flows right off the kitchen. Relax on the L-shaped couch or find a spot at the dining room table. No matter where you sit you’ll have the best seat in the house in front of the flat-screen TV.

The kitchen separates the living room from the two private bedrooms. It has extensive counter space, double sinks, a gas stove, microwave, and a large refrigerator. The drawers, shelves, and cabinets are stocked with wine glasses, dishes, cookware, utensils, and bakeware. From the kitchen, you can see everything that is going on in the living room, so no one feels left out of the conversation.

☆☆ OUTSIDE SPACE ☆☆
In the mornings, you can brew coffee in the coffee maker and bring it out to the private patio to enjoy. The patio sits directly opposite the pool, making it easy to get into the sparkling waters whenever the mood strikes. From the patio, you can see swaying palm trees and kites soaring above the ocean in the distance. There is a walkway just steps from the patio that leads right out to the beach.

When you stay in this two-bedroom condo you have the whole place to yourself. You have access to all the rooms and amenities, and will be given a lockbox code for secure entrance into the unit. There is limited parking on-site, and as a guest here you have access to all of the hotel's amenities: swimming pool, deck chairs, onsite bar/restaurant, onsite garden and kite pack down area, area-wide wifi etc.

You're also just a short drive from the grocery store, beach boutiques, and waterfront dining. There is a laundromat nearby, and the home has internet options. You can't get any closer to Kite Beach than this simple and sunny apartment, and it's the perfect getaway spot for travelers looking for fun in the sun.

Yesenia the property manger is on site all days except Sundays. I visit regularly and am always available virtually.

Kite beach is a predominately a kiting community at the edge of Cabarete Bay. It s friendly, relaxing and the perfect place for Kitesuring with good wind all year round. Most days you have the option of flat water or waves due to the offshore reef. The beach is extremely safe – no dangerous currents or sealife.

There is a great vibe between the kiters – many people at Kite Beach Hotel (the complex within which this condo sits) are long term residents who live here to kite. You’ll quickly find kite beach is a very friendly, social and welcoming place. Nice eating and drinking options right on the beach.

Cabarete town is 5mins from Kite Beach by car and approx 25mins walk along the beach. This makes Kite Beach the perfect place to stay in Cabarete because it is easy to get to town, but just far enough away so that none of the nightlife noise reaches us at night.

Some local activities include: Canyoning, River Boat tours, Kayak Tours, 27 Waterfalls, Monkey Jungle, Cabarete Caves, Horse-back riding, Spas, Paragliding, City tours, Yoga, Gym classes, SUP tours & of course Kite surfing, Surfing, Windsurfing!


2min walk – a dominican-style fruit & veg stand is just across the road & to the left of Kite Beach Hotel.
2min drive – La Rosa is a small supermarket with most items you’ll need but not much variety.
5min drive – Janets – the largest supermarket in Cabarete town.

Road safety in the Dominican Republic is a not strong point. Private taxis as the safest and most comfortable way to travel – these can be easily located directly outside the complex.
Less expensive options include:
Motoconchos – motorbike taxis that can be found pretty much everywhere. Even if you’re not looking for one, they’ll let you know they’ve found you with an opportunistic “Moto? Moto?”. Price to Cabarete: 50 pesos to 100 pesos. More at night. Agree the price before starting your journey.
Guaguas – vans acting as buses that continuously drive the main road through Puerto Plata-Sosua-Cabarete-Rio San Juan. You can hop on/hop off whenever you want – expect to share your seat! Price to Cabarete: 35 pesos. At night: no service
Carritos – older vehicles, similar to Guaguas. Price to Cabarete: 35 pesos. At night: 50 pesos

We’re happy to welcome you into our privately-owned home, but please keep in mind that we don’t operate like a hotel with on-call concierge services or anything like that. And although we aim to provide exactly what’s detailed on this listing, at times a particular item may be missing (usually because a prior guest accidentally broke it and didn’t inform us). In that case, please just kindly let us know about it, and we’ll do our best to replace it as soon as possible.

One more thing to keep in mind is that you are vacationing in the Caribbean, which means that although the ocean is warm, the tropical fruit is plentiful, and the mojitos are fantastic: things here move a lot slower than what you might be used to. So in the rare event that something stops functioning during your stay, the repair process might not be as efficient as it is back home. In that event, we kindly ask for your patience and understanding as we do our very best to speed things along.
