Nestled at the very tip of Somerset on a private dead-end road, this coastal waterfront home is the perfect place for a family retreat, romantic getaway or friends seeking adventure

Marvel at the panoramic views of the Braga Bridge, Mt. Hope Bridge & Bay, Bristol, Tiverton Rhode Island, and the Fall River cityscape on the horizon.

Grab a kayak or relax, soak up the sun & let the gentle sea breeze wash your worries away!

From the moment you step inside, you'll be greeted by an open foyer and breathtaking views of the water and surrounding landscape. Our home has been fully renovated with vacation renters in mind, and each room has been individually addressed and professionally decorated to offer a truly unique experience.

Relax in the comfortable seating areas while taking in the beauty of the panoramic views from our South-facing home, and witness dramatic colors from sunrise to sunset. Step outside and enjoy a warm beverage from our expansive wrap-around porch, or take a stroll around the private dead-end road in our friendly neighborhood where many families have lived for generations.

Our spa-like bathrooms, one on each floor, feature modern fixtures, high-end finishes, and indulgent amenities such as multi-pivoting, multi-setting body jets, and overhead rain showers. The gourmet kitchen is fully equipped with top-of-the-line stainless steel appliances and everything you need to prepare delicious meals with family and friends. And with multiple dining areas, including an outdoor flat top griddle, dining table, and gazebo with a bar counter, you'll have plenty of options for enjoying meals or drinks with a view.

When it's time to retire for the night, you'll find peaceful retreats in each of our bedrooms. Enjoy a peaceful night's sleep on plush beds with wonderful linens, blackout curtains, and wake up to the sounds of the water lapping at the shore.

Explore the waters with our kayaks or take a leisurely stroll along the private pebble beach.

Other things to note:
Air conditioning & Heating: There are no restrictions set on the AC's or on the heating and the home can be set to any temperature needed for a comfortable stay. With multiple AC units in the kitchen and bedrooms, the home is effortlessly cooled during summer months. In addition The south facing waterfront home allows for the strong coastal winds to blow through the home and add a very refreshing coastal breeze if Air conditioners are not preferred.

Cameras- 2 Ring Doorbell Cameras. One the Front Door monitoring the front entry and one on the Back door monitoring the rear entry, 1 attached to the garage overlooking the driveway.

All Cameras are motion activated and record sound & video

In addition part of the cleaners policy is that they video record their work before and after each clean to take stock of condition and confirm inventory such as kitchenware, linens, decor, electronics etc.

Excellent! Excellent! Excellent!We rented this home as a central point for all of our adult children and grandchildren to celebrate the holiday. From the moment we pulled in the drive, we knew we made the right choice. We were a little leary of the "no shoes" rule but quickly came to see why that was requested. The floors are elegant and worthy of it, as is the rest of the home. You can see the time and love that was put into restoring this home. All of our needs were met and many of the things we usually buy to supplement our needs were already there. The space was perfect for what we needed. Even the extras we needed for the 1 & 2yo were there, including a video baby monitor that my son forgot to pack. The beds were comfortable, the sauna was a delightful treat, and the kitchen accommodated our large gathering. Our host, Gary was in contact the perfect amount - not too much, not too little, and made check-in seamless. He even bought, wrapped, and placed gifts for our 4 grandchildren under the tree (not cheap ones either!). This was the first time all of the grandkids were together, and he understood how important it was for us to have that experience memorable. The view and sunsets were like a storybook. We cannot say enough about how happy we are. Thank you, Gary! We will definitely be back!

My friends and I had an amazing stay in this home! I had booked it as a weekend trip for my group and this home exceeded our expectations. The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and exactly as described in the listing. The host was warm and welcoming making check-in and communication effortless. The waterfront view was an amazing sight to wake up to. The host recommended restaurants and activities were exactly the kind of fun we were looking for. Little touches like fresh towels, cozy balcony, fully stocked kitchen, and thoughtful amenities really made it feel like home. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Excellent stay!

Gary was a truly gracious host. The house is beautiful and very clean. There are so many amenities that made the stay even more enjoyable including the upgrades to the bathrooms. The pool was perfect to cool down after the heat wave that hit and the hot tub was amazing as well. The kitchen has everything anyone would need to make meals while enjoying your stay. We will definitely stay again in the future! The view is pretty great too. Thank you, Gary!

Great view and great house

My wife and I stayed here with our two small children and absolutely loved it. The house was clean and comfortable and the host was extremely thoughtful and responsive. And the view of the water from the living room was gorgeous! We definitely want to stay here again in the future. The location is also great. Whether you want to take a day trip to Boston, or go to Newport, or Providence the house is conveniently located near the highway making it easy to get to multiple places. Route 6 is also close by if you want to make a quick Target run.The hot tub and sauna were nice amenities!

A Truly Wondeful Experience!

There is not enough space to write all the good things about staying at this property. From the host, Gary, who is not only attentive, but thought and super professional to the cleanliness and amenities of the property, this is truly a gem. So often a “beautiful water view” is described, but this is the first time the view was BETTER than described. It was a beautiful and peaceful place to stay. There should be no hesitation to book at this property.

My west coast family stayed at Gary’s property to meet my new great grandson. We had a memorable time. The property had everything you could need. We loved the above ground pool and the jacuzzi. My son~in-law really liked the sauna. Gary was extremely attentive, even if it was a small matter. Gary is a great guy and aims to please. We would definitely return.

Fabulous vacation home!

The home was exactly as described. Every detail was thought of and it was the best vacation home we have stayed in, from the comfort of the beds, to the well appointed kitchen, and the hot tub, pool, and board games. Gary communicated with us throughout the booking process, check in, and during our stay making sure we were comfortable. I would highly recommend this home. It was conveniently located to Fall River, about 1/2 an hour from Newport, and we drove in to Boston twice during our stay. A great central location.

AWESOME STAY!!

Gary’s home is so beautiful! The view of the sunset over the water was absolutely stunning. We stay at a lot of VRBO’s and this one was set up perfectly! No detail was missed, and so many little details added. Location is at the end of a point right on the water with expansive views, but you’re still so close to everything. We were visiting family in the area and will definitely be back to this gorgeous home! Highly recommend!!!

Gary is a wonderful host and his home is beautiful! He is very thoughtful and remembered to add details to his home .. kayaks, life jackets , locally made necklaces coffee bar and refrigerator in the master as well as a sauna. He also made arrangements for a chef to cook for us one night. This location is an hour from Boston or Newport and Block Island Ferry. Private access to a beach was right across the street. The porch was huge with plenty of seating. Gary was extremely easy to communicate with, very kind and quick to respond. We would absolutely love to stay at Heart of Somerset again!!!!

The house was a recent total renovation and is beautiful. with new appliances, IT, grill and great showers! Beautiful water view from wrap-around porch. Air Hockey, Foos Ball in basement and nice yard for lawn games. Unfortunately area beaches closed due to rain and bacteria but museums, Battleship Cove and Newport are short drives. Host is very accessible and works to meet quests needs.

Heart of Somerset was a true home away from home

5 stars all the way, beautiful property with over the top amenities. The highlight though was Gary and the care he showed as a host, we were welcomed with gifts as soon as we entered and immediately felt at home. Gary has the place stocked with everything one would need for a trip, we really only needed our clothes and food and drink for our stay, he put great effort into supplying all the other comforts of home, we didn't want to leave when it was time and we will definitely be looking out for availability for our next trip up that way, truly a home away from home and the breeze coming off the water was great at night while sitting on the front porch listening to the waves lapping upon the beach. Thanks again from all of us Gary, couldn't ask for a better experience!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The house is lovely with a well stocked kitchen. We have stayed in numerous homes and this was the cleanest with nice attention to detail. This place is absolutely fantastic. The host thought of absolutely everything. Even waters in the refrigeratr! Everything is modern, well taken care of, and beautifully decorated. The showers are amazing! The view, spectacular. Location- central to all kinds of fun places. The best part was the host! Unbelievably accommodating. We mentioned a few “nice to have” ideas to him and he offered to bring them that day. Overall a wonderful place to stay.

Simply gorgeous spot!

My family had to make a last minute trip to the area due to a death in the family. I had family members coming in on different days at different times, but we really wanted to stay together. I found Gary's house which had ample space and he graciously accommodated all our needs. All we really needed was a place with a lot of bedrooms for us all, but Gary's place was above and beyond! It was perfectly set up for a vacation rental with all the things you need and nothing that you don't. First it's located in a beautiful spot with a stunning view of the water and the Mount Hope Bridge in the distance. The house has been completely remodeled and is very clean and beachy. The beds and furniture were comfortable, the bathrooms were amazing with spa-like showers, and there was just enough decor to make it homey and pleasant without being overbearing. The kitchen had everything we needed, and we really appreciated the expanding table as we had a big family dinner one night. I have stayed in a lot of short-term vacation rentals over the years and I can't think of one that was better appointed for a travelling family. Gary himself was super nice and helpful, and check in/out was simple and fast. I will definitely stay here again when I am back in the area.
