Home away from Home

Born and raised North County Coastal and since most of my family has moved away, it was good to come home to a place I knew. My family enjoyed every minute of our stay. Stubbs was very professional, accurate on all levels of communication and we had a lovely experience all around. Thank you!

Great location!

We had a late check-in, it was a little confusing finding the condo in the dark. Other than that everything was as shown in the pictures. Everything we needed was there. Lots of restaurants, cafes near by. Short walk to the beach, beach towels provided. We will definitely stay again.

Clean spacious condo in a lovely location

We enjoyed our stay here with our 2 kids. The king beds were soft and comfortable, everything was very clean, bright and new, and the grounds were lovely with lots of succulents and flowers. There are multiple pools on the complex, but the heated one was our favorite as well as the closest. The kids really enjoyed the boogie boards and the little walk to the beach every day. I was surprised there was no other beach toys/chairs/gear besides towels, because the other vrbo beach condo's we've stayed in always do, but it wasn't a big deal. When we first arrived, there was a lingering odor of it being smoked in, but it was only downstairs, not in the bedrooms upstairs. I'm very sensitive to smells; most people probably wouldn't be bothered by it. Also, there was an air purifier which was nice. We appreciated having a private patio with a grill, as well as a nice washer and dryer. The a/c wasn't necessary, but would have been very nice if it hadn't been so cool the week we were there. Definitely would recommend!

Easy access to the beach across the street and other amenities of DMBC. The AC made the walk across the street for beach access worth it. As in previous stays the Stubbs staff was always extremely friendly and helpful. Great customer service!

Full renovated, beachy condo

Our stay at this lovely, recently renovated Solana Beach condo was very comfortable - each bedroom has an ensuite bathroom, the patio furniture made for enjoyable outdoor meals, and the kids loved that there were a few board games for them. We enjoyed walking to the nearby beach and swimming in the pool as well.

Nice condo

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our condo was clean and well furnished. Decor is close to high end and pleasing to the eye. The layout is not open concept/family gathering friendly...the stairs to the second level separate the kitchen/dining area from the living room area. However, that worked out very well for us because we had one person sleeping on the sofa bed in the living room area so we could do stuff in the kitchen without overly disturbing him. The condo is across the street from the main complex so no beach/ocean views and requires a short walk (take your gate key) to the main complex to access the view lounge/patio and beach access. This particular condo is right on Hwy 101 but well insulated against traffic noise...we rarely heard traffic noise unless we opened windows on that side. I doubt we will return unless nothing else is available because we prefer closer access to the beach but we were in a pinch coming out on short notice and the agency came through for us with three nice condos for our large family stay. Just a heads up that the condo does not have a regular coffee maker but an espresso maker which foamed the coffee.
