"Casita Sirena" is a stylish 1920's Spanish style beach bungalow. The Casitas secluded local is just of the main bungalow, sitting next to a secluded patio on our postage stamp sz. lot near the Sea. "Casita Sirena" is located 300yds from Fletcher Cove & Bus stop. 1/2 block from Solana Beach Train Sta., Cedros Design District, 1 mile from Del Mar Racetrack & Fairgrounds. Clean & well appointed, this quaint Southern California Beach Bungalow has a very desirable, seaside location. 1 Bedroom, w/living space, 3 shallow stairs to Kitchenette & Bath Rm. "Casita Sirena" has a Seperate-secluded 1 step entrance. Sometimes shares a pleasant tranquil outdoor common patio w/main Bungalow. Just steps to guarded beach. Tidy, chic, inexpensive, convenient and comfortable. Boogie boards, umbrellas, beach towels, sunscreen & chairs. Surf boards & bike rentals within a block. BBQ w/outdoor shared dining patio. We respect our guest's privacy and anonymity. We appreciate guest request & correspondence via e-mail or text. We will try to accommodate all needs prior to stay. Quiet, proximity to ocean, neighbors, beautiful custom homes, resturants, shopping & safe local. Very easy to navigate coast on bike or foot. Endless exercise possibilities. Many restaurants in & around the "Cedros Design District". Thursday night summer concerts in park, many sporting events, Sunday farmers market. Bike & surf shops close by for rental equipment.

Great location

The location was perfect to everything in town plus the beach. The place was clean and WiFi worked well. The host helped us with the TV because the source got changed and was very responsive to messages. We did not hang out in back yard but tables did exist. Street parking was free. The eating area had a mini fridge , microwave and toaster oven so if you usually cook during your stays just be aware of that possible limitation. Lots of food and coffee shops near by and the area felt very safe.

Lovely Casita in a Great Location

First let me say that the owner, Nina, was a breeze to work with and 100% on top of communicating. The casita is located in a great neighborhood with food and drinking options, and it's literally steps to a fantastic family-friendly beach. The interior is decorated in a seaside-themed eclectic arty way that is very welcoming. For two people, it's just a great size. The bed was comfy, the living room area has two big comfy chairs, and the bathroom has great water pressure - pretty much all you could ask for. Wifi works great if you are doing remote work as we did. We will definitely be coming back to this property in the future as it is walkable to the Belly Up Tavern for going to shows. Excellent all around.

Location, Location Location

We loved staying at Casita Serena. We could walk everywhere. We especially loved walking on the beach and to the local restaurants. Everything else was a short drive away. While the casita is not "luxurious" it is comfortable. The owner, Nina, was very nice and easy to interact with. We would definitely return.

Wow!

Excellent host! Loved the stay. Location is fantastic, less than 5 min walk to Pacific Ocean and 5 min walk to Belly Up. Many restaurant choices, good siteseeing. Very safe, with hidden entry. Clean and well appointed. Host very communicative and quick to reply about questions. Free street parking. Didn't need car at all over 2.5 day stay. Blinds and exterior lighting could be slightly better, and step at gate should be marked. Will stay again!

Beautiful and secluded retreat a stones throw from the beach

Casita Sirena was lovely; thoughtfully and tastefully decorated and immaculately clean. It was peaceful and quiet and ideal for taking a short walk along the beautiful Solan Beach. There are wonderful shops nearby and a great weekend food market. We came for the fantastic Belly Up Tavern, and we weren't disappointed!

48 hrs Solana Local

Best weekend getaway for an easy convenient San Diego trip. You don't even need a vehicle because you have all you need within half a block. Beach, Restaurant Bars, Cafe, Shopping, exercise... The incredible BellyUp Tavern is a 5 min walk. Solona Beach is a very nice area. Nina has a great setup and was an awesome host.

Great week in Solana

Nina's place was as advertised. Great for 2 people who want to experience the heart of Solana Beach. The location is perfect! Walkable to the beach and all the restaurants and shops Solana offers. The highway is close for a short drive to the San Diego attractions. The property is clean and comfortable and communication is great. We would stay again.

Almost like living at the beach!

We loved this place! It's tucked away in a nice quiet neighborhood that is somehow also convenient to everything we wanted. Walk a few doors down and you are at the beach! There is a dog nearby so you should be prepared to hear a dog bark on occasion. But it was nothing that we couldn't tolerate. We would stay here again and again!

Location, location...

The best thing about this little place is that it' s as close as you can get to the ocean! Nina has done a good job of decorating it, but it is a bit strange and makeshift in a layout that doesn't show in photos. A few suggestions : a light by the entry and by the gate also. A couple of plates and bowls. More restaurant suggestions--these details matter. Glad we came!

Relaxing weekend vacation!

This place was perfect for a relaxing weekend beach trip to visit friends in Solana Beach. This is a very charming and clean place that is only about a block from the beach access to Fletcher Cove where you can surf or walk the beach by day and catch great sunsets at night. We enjoyed how walkable this location was to several great restaurants and shops while still providing a quiet and private place to stay.

Terrific stay!

This is a great little bungalow in a very nice beach town. The room is clean, well appointed and private. Access to the beach and the town is immediate! Nina was terrific - responsive and welcoming without being intrusive. This was my first foray into VRBO and I’m happy it was such a great start.

Good Beach Access

Very beautiful beach and the location provides great access. Even better beaches are not far away. Small, comfortable property as advertised. Good businesses nearby for microbrews, food, and shopping. Nice neighborhood and friendly dog on site. Caveats: No full kitchen. Parking is on the street - seems like it could be difficult if things get busy. Also, entrance through neighboring lot is a little awkward, but it is not an expensive property for the area, so that's understandable.
