In the summer months, enjoy peaceful surroundings, fresh mountain air, and easy access to scenic trails right outside your door. The nearby Camp Four Trail offers a convenient route to explore the Northern Tract (seasonal access may vary).
After a day of hiking, biking, or simply soaking in the views, retreat to Camp Shadow 4848. This spacious, open-concept home is designed for comfort, featuring ample seating, a cozy gas fireplace, and a large smart TVâperfect for unwinding with family and friends.

THE RESORT:
At 4,848 feet, Snowshoe Mountain has the best skiing south of Vermont and east of Colorado, and is the perfect all-season destination in West Virginiaâs Allegheny Mountains. Youâre sure to find an activity to keep all your family members happy.
- Winter â With an average yearly snowfall of 180 inches, the mountain offers 250 acres of skiable terrain, 61 slopes, 12 lifts, night skiing in Silver Creek, and 5 terrain parks for all skill levels. When you feel like taking a break from skiing or snowboarding, try out other activities such as the Coca-Cola tubing park, Polaris RZR tours, snowmobile tours, horse-drawn sleigh rides, and the Snowshoe spa, to name a few.
- Summer â Enjoy the Snowshoe Bike Park with 40 downhill trails at your disposal. Other activities include hiking, horseback riding, geocaching, clay shooting, golfing, kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing, relaxing by Shavers Lake, etc.
ADDITIONAL NOTES:
- This property is equipped with an outdoor doorbell camera for security purposes.
- The closest shuttle to the property is located at Camp 4 and, from there, Guests can get off at the entrance to the Western Territory, Village, Top of the World, or Silver Creek, depending on where you want to ski.
- Camp Four offers a fantastic location with easy access to Snowshoeâs Northern Tract via the Camp Four Trail to Powderidge Lift. (Slope access may be limited during early and late season.)
- Camp Shadow 4848 is a townhome and shares one wall with another property.
- Parking is right outside the property and there is space for two vehicles.
- Please be courteous and considerate of the other guests and abide by the quiet hours from 10:00 PM - 8:00 AM.
- Party away on the mountain or at a local restaurant. But, please, no parties in the condo.
- If you need additional accommodations, please ask me about my other properties on the Snowshoe Mountain Resort.
