It's the best of both worlds--a 3rd floor unit with a gorgeous ocean view PLUS the only building at Topsail Dunes with an elevator to save your backs as you load in and out! This is a privately owned and managed unit, and we live just down the road, so you will have VIP status leading up to and during your stay! The Pelican Pad is our only rental property and future retirement home, so we love it just as much as you will! This one-bed (queen), one-bath condo is recently updated, top-to-bottom. The Pelican Pad is perfect for a romantic getaway or small family adventure! Have a couple kiddos? The unit also features twin bunk beds. The interior is lovely, but you'll probably want to spend most of your time taking in the gorgeous view on the patio, stocked with a table and chairs. You'll be greeted with a welcome basket plus a coffee station as well as some cold water bottles in the fridge. The restroom will be stocked with a few emergency items. You are certainly welcome to bring your own linens, but emergency back-up linens can be found in the bedroom closet. Renters will receive a link to a website managed by the owners with recommended restaurants, shopping, and activities! The unit is just steps from a private salt water pool and direct beach access. Look under the bunk beds to find a beach cart, beach chairs, and some beach toys! On the sound side of the building, you can find a well-kept communal area with covered picnic tables, playground equipment, horsheshoes, lawn bowling, and basketball. Enjoy some fun in the sun year-round, and visit every year to make it a beloved Topsail Island tradition! Just one hour from historic Wilmington, NC, if you are looking for a fun day trip, but you're probably not going to want to leave the Pelican Pad for long. : )
