This unit is located downtown near Minnesota Ave and 6th St. Unit three is one of five apartments in the building, all managed by us, ensuring we always know who's staying.



This unit is pet friendly with a pet fee.

The Space:

Overview:

Welcome to our spacious one-bedroom apartment unit located in downtown Sioux Falls. Upon entering, you will be greeted by a fully equipped kitchen (minus a dishwasher) and a cozy dining space for four. The carpeted living room offers comfortable seating with a powered reclining loveseat and a dedicated workspace. The large bedroom features a queen bed and dual closets. From the bedroom, you can access the full bathroom, which includes a tub/shower combo and extra shelving for your belongings.



Capacity:

This apartment comfortably sleeps two guests but can accommodate up to four with the provided airbed. Please note that bathroom access is through the bedroom. To ensure your safety and our preparation, we require all overnight guests to be registered. An unregistered guest fee of $150 will apply. If your group size changes, just let us know.



Accessibility:

The apartment is easy to access with just five steps from the building entrance to the unit door. Inside, everything is on one level.



Parking:

Parking is straightforward in downtown Sioux Falls. We recommend parking on the street in front of the building for the easiest access. Your vehicle will be visible from the apartment windows. Alternatively, there are three parking spaces available in the back lot on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please use only one space per group. Note that the building is on a hill, which requires a short walk uphill from the parking lot to the entrance.



Pets:

Up to two pets are permitted to stay on the property. No other pets are permitted without prior consent. A pet fee of $40 applies. Unregistered pets will incur an $80 violation fee. Please register your pets appropriately. This helps us prep our space and maintain cleanliness following a pet's stay. Always have your pet leashed and clean up behind them.



Heating/Cooling:

The unit features radiant heating and window AC units. Fans and lightweight linens are provided during summer, while additional heaters and warmer bedding are available in winter.



Smoking/Illegal Activity:

To maintain a clean and safe environment, illegal activities are prohibited. Violations will be reported to local authorities and Airbnb. Smoking is allowed outside only, with proper disposal of cigarette butts required. Indoor smoking will result in a $350 fee.



Stay Duration:

Bookings are available for 1-30 nights. For longer stays, please contact us to discuss details.



Building Structure:

Built in 1903, this building has a stable structure despite its age. Be aware that the foundation has settled, resulting in creaky, uneven floors.



Bugs and Nuances:

You may occasionally encounter ants, spiders, fruit flies, or earwigs. We maintain cleanliness and regular pest control but cannot eliminate all pests. As the property is downtown, expect some noise from trains, sirens, and traffic. Thick curtains are provided for noise reduction, and earplugs are available if needed.

Guest Access:

You have access to everything in the apartment unit three. If you need access to the laundry service during your stay, please let me know and we'll give you access instructions.



Other Things to Note:

It is strongly recommended to purchase Airbnb's travel insurance when booking a stay during months where unpredictable weather may cause difficulties in travel which could result in not making it to your reserved location. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide full refunds for missed trips.



This apartment building is located in the historic district. It is an older building that does not have an elevator. Based on its age, the floors are also uneven so please be mindful of that when booking this property. Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do about this.



Want to check in early or checkout late?

We have an early check in fee of $25 when check in is requested prior to 2pm. We have a late checkout fee when checkout is requested by 11am.



This property is located in downtown. You will see things of the downtown nature because this property is downtown. If you feel unsafe at all during your stay please call 911 and report it immediately. You will NOT be refunded if you choose to vacate the property based on neighborhood surroundings. The building is secured, has cameras on the front and back of the building and your unit door is secured also. No guest has ever been personally affected by the neighborhood whether personally or their vehicles. Please don't hesitate to ask us any questions whatsoever.



When booking a stay please accurately register all guests, including pets. This is important for staging and cleaning purposes as well as for your safety.



Interaction with Guests:

Abby will be the main host during your stay. Should you have any questions, comments, or concerns about anything during your stay please reach out to her. The best way to get in contact would be to first message through Airbnb directly in the booking messages. If you don't get a response within 10-15 minutes please text Abby directly during your stay. Her number is located at the property and available to you on Airbnb after a confirmed booking is made.

We had a wonderful stay and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The host was extremely attentive to our needs and made sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. The place was thoughtfully stocked with plenty of basic necessities, which made everything easy and stress-free. We were especially impressed with how welcoming it was for pets — even our dog was provided for, which we truly appreciated. Overall, a fantastic stay with a caring host. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

Great Location

This property is right near downtown and all its nightlife and entertainment. However this unit is very quiet. I had no trouble with city noises but if I did there were ear plugs provided. The kitchen was stocked well with all the essentials and few other items you didn’t think you would need. The hosts are friendly kind people and will address any concerns you may have immediately.
