Please be aware that we are located adjacent to the Ocalla national Forest. Occasionally wild animals, such as armadillo, raccoon, bear, deer, bobcats, miscellaneous creatures could walk through our property, and we have no control of that. None of our guests have ever had a problem and we do set trail cams up towards the back of the property so that we can watch this activity. As well, our neighbor has a shooting range and he will occasionally practice target shooting so please be aware of that. He does not do it in the evenings or super early mornings.
The space
This barndominium apartment is located on the Once upon our Farm Homestead. Where we also have glamping and a full three bedroom two bath house. We have a sprawling 10 acre farm and love to host people with doggies. 2 max, no cats due to owners allergies. Did we mention we have our own Pickleball court and all the supplies to have fun? Bring your boat or jet skis, we have room to park it!!

Guest access
Guest have access to the apartment front porch and of course the apartment. However, we encourage you to take a walk around the property. We also have a little place for dogs to run. That’s fenced in called Cedar’s play place. And then believe it or not we have a Pickleball court! Prefer boating? We are a rare find because you can bring your boat and park it on site!

1. Breakfast $10.00 per person and includes
Fresh watermelon, juice, fresh orange juice, water, coffee. Fresh that morning, homemade bagels with sliced veggies and various fruit and cream cheeses. Can be paid cash or various payments. Need 1 days notice.

2. River activities.. we are just around the corner from Silver Springs State Park where you can Kayak, paddleboard and walk around the park.
If you have a boat, please let us know ahead of time and we will have a place for you to park it here so then you can take it and go boating in Silver Springs or one of the other lakes around here!

3. Dollar General is also around the corner and has a small food market.

4. Just minutes away from Zip Lining, The Equestrian Center, Downtown Ocala, Marion Flea Market and great restaurants.

5. If you like biking on the trails or walking on the trails, you’re gonna love this place. We are just minutes away from the Silver Springs trails, baseline trails, the Santos trails and the Cross Florida Greenway Trails. All can be hiked or biked.
