Cozy One-Bedroom Suite Close To The Ocean

Welcome to our brightly lit suite, located only a five minute drive from downtown Sidney, that will become your new home away from home. In our 480 square foot space, you'll enjoy luxurious bath robes, a unique palette wall in the bedroom and a view of the garden out the back window. The modern kitchen is fully equipped with anything you may need for any length of stay. You can curl up in front of the fireplace on the beautiful leather couch to watch a movie on the 55-inch smart TV. The bathroom is equipped with any extra toiletries you may need, along with a spacious bathtub for ultimate relaxation. The bedroom has a comfortable queen sized bed with new, cozy linens. The black out blinds will allow you to sleep in as long as you'd like, even after the sun comes up. There is a private entrance and a path leading straight up to the suite. A short, 10 minute walk down the road you will find yourself at a beautiful beach called Roberts Bay, which is a migratory bird sanctuary. You can spot lots of wildlife and on a clear day, there's a wonderful view of Mount Baker. Only a 5 minute drive to downtown Sidney, or a 25 minute walk, you can find many delicious places to eat, small-town shops and different water activities such as kayak rental or whale watching. There is a bus stop located a 2 minute walk down the road that can bring you to many different places, including Sidney or Victoria. We are surrounded by many beautiful hikes and walks, beaches, and lots of other places to explore. We live in the upstairs so we are always available for any questions or concerns you may have. If there is anything you may need, please don't hesitate to ask!

This truly cozy vrbo is the best provisioned we've experienced. We were impressed by the cleanliness, finishes and tasteful decor. The little Christmas tree inside and the wreath on the entry door were very nice personal touches. Our hosts were personable, very friendly, accommodating and quick to respond to our inquiries. We would not hesitate to stay again at this comfy retreat and fully expect when next visiting the area, we will.

What an absolute pleasure to stay here. It will 100% be at the top of my list the next time I travel to Victoria. In fact, I will plan my travel around the availability of this place. Super clean. Super quiet. Perfectly situated for our day trips around the island. Truly an amazing space. Compact, but so well designed that it feels way more spacious than I imagined it would be. The VRBO is perfectly stocked with everything you need, whether you are there for one night or one month. The bed was very comfortable and, despite my chronic insomnia, enabled me to sleep soundly. The hosts were delightful, and we appreciated all the small touches that helped us feel so welcomed. I'd go so far as to say that this was hands down my best short term rental experience ever! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would.

We cannot put into words how wonderful our stay was in this comfortable suite. Everything was as you would hope it would be - and more. The space is immaculate and well thought out; it felt like home within minutes of arriving. The suite is fantastically arranged and excellently equipped. We wish whoever designed the layout and decorated the suite could visit our home and do the same! The Welcome guide and Host communications were the best we've ever enjoyed. The location is fantastic - a few minutes away from Sidney and a few minutes more away from the Victoria Airport and Sidney Ferries. Easy parking, a private entrance and a comfortable bed... what more could anyone ask for? We made the most of the washer and dryer in the suite and although we didn't make any meals, we could have -- every dish, plate, bowl and accessory we might need are provided along with a spotless stove and counter space work area. The lighting within the suite was also well thought out; being able to make it comfy-cozy with the light from the table lamp - or bright and crisp with the ceiling lights - or soft and calm with the lights over kitchen island - it's a space that any one (or couple) should appreciate. There's no hustle or bustle to worry about; if you need a few days on the Island it's certainly a home-from-home base we'd recommend.

Peter and Julie were great hosts. The suite was very clean and comfortable. It was well stocked with supplies. The location for good for walking to parks and is a 20 minute walk to downtown Sidney or a 5 minute drive. We would stay again and highly recommend it to others!

This garden suite was beautiful, modern and in wonderful condition. It was well supplied by the host and had everything you would need. It is truly and home away from home! It is only a 5 minute drive from Sidney town center and was away from the hustle and bustle for a peaceful night sleep.

Sidney Winter Escape

For our first trip to the Sidney area on Vancouver Island, we found a very quiet rental sanctuary.It included everything and anything that we needed for the month we stayed, and we were very comfortable.We did not have a vehicle and Sidney is a very walkable community. There is a grocery and other shops and restaurants within about five minutes. The town site is about a half an hour walk away. The hosts were easy to contact if necessary, which was seldom, and were very friendly and nice. We would be happy to stay here again.

Home Suite Home

This was our second stay at this location and it was just as welcoming as it was the first time. The location is wonderfully local and very convenient to walk / bike or drive into town. Peter and Julie are an absolute delight and are very conscious of making sure everything is just perfect; from fresh flowers in the suite to a bottle of wine on arrival. Since we have stayed at this place before, it felt like going “home” this time. If you are looking for a location that is quiet, clean, comfortable, charming, and local to town and seashore then this is the place you need to stay! J.Black

Quite a surprise

We booked thinking it might be a little small for us but it was fine for two people. My wife who is shorter found the counter heights to be a little bit high for her. The microwave on top of the fridge was a no go for her. I was able to use it with no issues. Everything worked great. It was situated within 5 minutes travel to the things we wanted to do. Very easy access to the BC Ferry terminal at Swartz Bay.

Awesome on Ardwell Avenue

We had a very nice stay at this suite. The wine was welcoming and the fireplace cozy. This area has easy access to the highway for further forays and downtown Sidney with wonderful walks to the beach at Robert's Bay and surrounding marinas. Our hosts were very accessible and very friendly. What more could one ask for when traveling.

Sidney escape

We had come to Sidney for my high school reunion. Parklands turned 50! The best thing, for me, was the location of this rental. It was in my old neighbourhood (which changed so much!) and made me feel like I was home. This was the nicest, cleanest place we have stayed in years. So homey and wonderful atmosphere. The welcoming bottle of wine was a nice surprise. Pete was available if we needed anything and immediately replaced the microwave when it stopped working. If I could give 10 stars, I would. 110% recommended! Thank you.

This place is beautiful,clean and in nice quiet neighbourhood. The owners are very friendly to the point of having a nice bottle of wine and coffee beans waiting for you. The fireplace in the living room is nice touch. They even have robes for you to wear. The towels are nice and thick and the bathtub is deep if you are inclined to take a bath.The bed and pillows are very comfortable. The room darkening blinds are definite plus. The location is great its only a 5 min. drive to restaurant area and about 10 min. to the airport. If you are walking there is a bus stop just up the street.
