In fact, there are so many coastal habitats to choose from nearby that you really will be spoilt for choice. A short walk into town will take you to Sheringham seafront where you can explore the wide sand and shingle beach, wander around the pretty market town and discover lots of great places to eat, drink and shop. Head west from here and take a seasonal boat trip out to see the seals, enjoy a spot of crab lining at Blakeney or enjoy fish and chips the quayside at Wells-next-the-Sea.

Or just a short journey east you will find the popular town of Cromer with its famous Edwardian seafront and pier. From Sheringham it is possible to enjoy the Norfolk Broads and the city of Norwich too, meaning you really will see the three highlights of Norfolk in one trip.
