Come enjoy our beautiful walk-out basement apartment! So bright and cheery, with beautiful forest views. Chill on the covered patio around the fire table. Explore the waterfalls & hikes in Shelton & the Olympic Peninsula or hunker down and work, study, relax, or simply recharge at the end of a day working or adventuring.
The space
You will have the run of the basement apartment- with the main space having an efficiency kitchen including microwave, full size fridge, dishwasher, and stove/oven; a dining table for four (expandable to seat 6 or more); the living room- complete with a leather sofa, ultra-comfortable lay-flat recliner, electric fireplace/heater, and a smart TV; and last but not least the lighted shuffleboard table where winners and losers will be determined with the slide of a puck (let the smack-talking commence).
Off this main room are the two stylishly appointed bedrooms- one with a king bed (12" luxury firm foam mattress), and one with a queen bed (14" plush hybrid mattress). Also adjoining the main room and right next to the bedrooms is the bathroom with a walk-in oversize shower and other standard fixtures. The bathroom features lots of nice tile- no plastic walls here!
On the covered patio you can enjoy sitting by the fire table on the upholstered patio love seat and chairs. You will have views of wooded land from the patio. There are trails in the woods- including one that leads steeply down to Goldsborough Creek. There is a large gas grill for your private use on the patio.
Guest access
You will have full private use of all of the spaces described above along with the fenced back yard- which is mostly lawn.
Other things to note
The laundry room is shared with the owner and is in the basement just through a door off the main room. We work during the week so you can use the laundry as needed and, on the weekends, we can coordinate usage without any worries. Thanks!
