Birdsong Cottage is located near uptown Shelby, NC and is within walking distance, 15-20 minutes, to the Earl Scruggs Center and the Don Gibson Theatre. Shelby is also the home to the American Legion World Series.
Also uptown: restaurants and shopping. Arts Council, Buffalo Creek Gallery, wine shops and brewery, coffee shops, and walking trails.
The cottage is newly remodeled with roomy living, sleeping, and kitchen spaces. Kitchen is fully equipped with everything but a dishwasher. Dawn liquid and laundry detergent, VINTAGE GE stove/oven!😀(Apartment size) Keurig coffee pods, reg and decaf. Sugar, stevia, half-n-half pods, PAM spray, salt, pepper.
Sleeping is SEMI-PRIVATE between the queen and twin beds. Perfect for a family of four. A port-a-crib with pad and sheet is stored in the closet. Queen bed is behind a wall but has access to the twins through an open doorway. Short queen. All new mattresses. New linens and towels.
Small toilet/shower room but with separate and roomy vanity lavatory/dressing area.
Keyless entry, alarm system, smart TV, internet, enclosed carport.
Spanish and English speaking hosts.
