The stay at the Psalter Hotel was an extraordinary experience. All the staff were exceptionally friendly and professional. We felt welcomed into a family rather than a Hotel. Nothing was too much trouble. The food, the cleanliness and cosiness of the rooms were all first class. There was an added ingredient which made this hotel stand out from others.., a chef that made the most delicious focaccia, eggs royal and vegan breakfasts. The creative flare in the decor and displays, a Halloween theme was marvellously original⊠This little hotel gives any guest a little piece of heaven âŠ. Thank you to everyone for making our stay so wonderfully special⊠we will definitely return.

We booked a small double room and were really surprised at how big it was. The room was spacious and well maintained with plenty of clothes hanging space and a lovely modern en suite. It was spotlessly clean and plenty of tea and coffee supplied. A really comfy bed/pillows and also a tv. We pre booked breakfast of which there was a good choice and the full english was delicious. We didn't eat from the evening menu as we were attending a wedding, but a couple we spoke with at breakfast said that the food was amazing!. The staff were very polite and friendly. We parked in the car park around the back of the hotel where there was plenty of space.I would definitely stay at the Psalter again.
Really nice and incredibly friendly staff - itâs a lovely area of Sheffield near hunters bar and shareable where there are loads of nice pubs and restaurants
Great location for some of the best restaurants and entertainment in town. Nice and quiet neighbourhood. Very friendly staff, with decent rooms, although would benefit from air conditioning, since we roasted during the heatwave.
Great bar, with a very decent selection of cocktails to try!
The staff were lovely, very friendly and accommodating, allowing an early check in due to the timing of a celebration we had travelled for. The breakfast was delicious with lots if gluten free options; even pancakes! I would definitely stay there again.
A basic but clean hotel that was perfectly located for the area of Sheffield I was visiting. Rooms are relatively small but for one/two nights are fine, hotel staff are friendly and helpful and it is excellent value. Don't expect ultra luxury or lots of facilities but would definitely use again.
The hotel was clean and well presented, the welcome was lovely. The food and drinks were expensive. The checkout was online and the reception was closed when we left. We left our car in the car park which was surrounded by trees. The car was full of sap and bird poo, had to fet it washed before driving home because it was so bad.
After I accidentally left the hotel key in my room, I was locked out when I arrived back after 11pm. Fortunately there was a number on door, and after calling I was back in the room within a few minutes without any hassle. It was much appreciated.
