Clean, fully furnished, two-bedroom cottage located across the street from the Shawano County Park and Campground. This includes public access to a well-kept beach, boat launch, playground, ice cream/snack shop and more. All of these exciting features can be seen from the front of the cottage and are only a short walk away!

The house was awesome for my sons wedding at Shawano Lake County Park! Just a walk to pavillon, boat landing, and beach. Short drive to town and brewery and shops.

Shawano stay

Perfectly and conveniently located to the lake and all of the activities we attended this weekend, The “Cottage” was updated to hold the charm of a lake cottage, yet modernized with great detail for a very comfortable stay. Would highly recommend any property owned by this owner.

The 'Cottage by the Beach' was perfect. The house is updated, clean and everything that you need is available. The location is perfect, across from a campground, clean beach and you are able to walk near the lake. This was my first time to Shawano, I will defiantly be back. ]

The perfect location

Wow! One of the best rentals we have stayed in. Clean, fully stocked, updated cottage right next to the county park. It was so nice to be so close to the park, beach, snack shack - especially with a baby and toddler as we could walk and not have to load them up in car seats all the time! The host was incredibly responsive and even provided a pack n play and booster seat! The cottage is also well stocked with toiletries, kitchen basics, and good coffee & creamer! There were ample blankets, pillows, towels, beach towels, etc. The street this is on was very quiet (during the week) which put my mind at ease allowing our toddler to play in the front yard. While we didn’t use it, it was nice that the cottage also had a fire ring & a gas grill! We will definitely look to stay here again as we visit the area a couple times per year!

Perfect location to this cute cottage

We wanted to stay close to Shawano County Park because we had friends that were camping there. So glad I found this one! Location was perfect and cottage was updated, great condition, and had lots of everyday things you might need. Owner was great, very responsive. We appreciate our stay and hope to come back in the future!

We were here in Nov so the beach proximity, etc didn't matter, but it was easy and quick to get to town where my son's wedding was. There were plenty of towels, coffee, creamer & tea options, and the furnace kept the cottage nice and warm. The welcome binder was great, very useful. The room with the bunk bed was much smaller than the pictures looked, but it was fine.

Alot different in Shawano than Door County

The cottage is just that, but it has some updating to do compared to what we are used to. The air conditioning went out while we were gone most of the day on Saturday. I was not aware that the owners phone number was listed on a binder in the entry so we could not contact them. Her response was no Problems they got it fixed before the next renters most likely today. It was 79 degrees all day Saturday and when we were leaving this AM. when we were premier owners, we listed it with our welcoming email just in case something happened. The furnace in the living room China cabinet was a unique touch. But judging from her response they are only interested in the next rental and future return stays might not cross their mind. The no problems we got it fixed tells the whole story. We had times when older folks could not work the TV or get connected to the Internet, we were there to help them out not just waiting for the next rental. Jeff Schultz

Amazing location and perfect property!

We stayed at this property to be close to family for a yearly 4th of July reunion. Our stay could not have been better. The property was clean, spacious, and had all the amenities. The location could not be beat and the property owner was kind and a great communicator. We will be back!

Great location

Had a wedding to stand up for that was happening at the shawano county park. It was great to just walk a couple hundred yards to get to everything that weekend. Cabin worked out great and I’m sure I’ll rent again in the future..

Holiday stay

The cottage was clean and had all necessities. No wifi, however that was a detail I missed when booking the place. While my stay was in winter to attend my family Christmas celebration nearby, it is a great location for summer activities due to its proximity to the park.
