The Space:

The interior of the home is a delight to your senses with warm wood and stone accents paired with elegant furnishings, while the exterior offers tranquil views of the surrounding landscape punctuated by the abundant pine trees that line the region. In the warmer months, Shaver Lake is a popular destination for water sports enthusiasts, with beaches, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, and more right at your fingertips. The nearby town offers several dining destinations where you can grab your food to go or stay and get to know the locals. In the winter, the lake is transformed into a winter wonderland, where the surrounding mountains are blanketed in snow and the lake is often frozen over. It’s the perfect time to enjoy sports such as skiing, snowboarding, snowmobiling, and snowshoeing, with family-friendly snow play areas in abundance. Back at the home, you’ll have plenty more opportunity to take in the sights and sounds of the outdoors, with the shady back yard offering a toasty firepit with log seating. Take your meals al fresco on the deck while enjoying the fresh mountain air or fire up the barbeque and host a delicious afternoon cookout. Make your way into the chef’s kitchen where stainless steel appliances, gorgeous wood cabinetry, and stone countertops await to assist you in all of your meal prep and planning needs. Drip and Keurig coffee makers are on hand for your morning pick-me-up, and there’s no better place to enjoy it than at the counter with 2 high-top stools keeping you in the center of the action.



This home comfortably sleeps 8 guests between 3 private bedrooms.



Bedroom #1 includes a queen size bed.



Bedroom #2 includes a queen size bed and a smart TV.



Bedroom #3 includes 2 twin-over-full bunk beds and a smart TV.



The home also includes 2 full guest bathrooms – the first with a shower/tub combo and the second with a walk-in shower.



THINGS TO NOTE:

• Ring camera on front door.

• Washer and dryer in home.

• Driveway parking available for a maximum of 2 vehicles.

• This home is equipped with a Ring doorbell system monitoring the front door.

• Firewood is not provided.

• No parties or loud music that can disturb neighbors. Quiet hours 10 pm to 8 am.

• When there is snow present or expected, please do not park on the street. You will be blocking the snowplows and be in violation of the local ordinances and subject to fines and/or towing. Snow shovels are provided to clear the driveway.

• During winter months or snow season, please be advised that chains/cables or 4WD vehicles are required.

Shaver Lake is a premier destination for water skiing, fishing, and kayaking. Sheltered coves and sandy beaches make for refreshing swimming, while dozens of nearby trails lead into the Sierra National Forest which you can explore on foot or by mountain bike. McKinley Grove is a popular stop when exploring the surrounding forest with its giant, historic sequoia trees and Yosemite National Park is less than 2 hours away. No matter your choice of nature activities, this home puts you in the heart of it all.
